Showtime has not been capable of creating a big ppv star for as long as I can remember.
When was the last time Showtime made non-Mayweather PPV?

What everyone seems to miss here is that Espinoza is not even talking about making the superfight in the US. He's apparently only interested in having rights to air the UK AJ/Wilder fight. He seems resigned to seeing Wilder travel abroad.

Thing is you can't make the AJ/Wilder fight bigger in the US unless its on PPV.
