Wilder vs. Stiverne I:
Not only did Wilder’s victory make him America’s first heavyweight titleholder since Shannon Briggs in 2007, but the main event of the three-fight card captured an average audience of 1.24 million viewers, which ranks as the network’s fourth-highest rated fight ever.
Co-promoted by Golden Boy and Don King, Wilder-Stiverne attracted a peak audience of 1.34 million viewers, which ranks as the highest fight on any premium network over the past year, according to the Showtime release.

Wilder vs. Stiverne II:
According to ratings released Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research, Wilder’s vicious, first-round knockout of Stiverne drew a peak audience of 887,000 viewers Saturday night from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. An average of 824,000 viewers tuned in for their brief bout, in which Wilder knocked down Stiverne three times before it was stopped with one second left in the first round.
More boxing fans were willing to watch Deontay Wilder fight Bermane Stiverne again than many might’ve expected. According to ratings released Tuesday by Nielsen
Showtime needs Joshua, and so does Wilder! I'm almost sure that Joshua vs. Parker will do better than Wilder vs. Ortiz, even though Ortiz is a better fighter than Parker! Joshua is approaching Canelo status, where no matter whom he fights, he will sell!Comment

Those ratings are on free tv. Real Time with Bill Maher alone gets an average of 4 mil viewers. And that's on subscription, not free tv. And they don't have to pay gazillon dollars on diva fighters, set up elaborate boxing rings, hire hundreds of temp personnel, the works.Comment

You said show example here’s one. Fighters don’t respect him.
https://********/4QeCHdJWS9Y
He’s with a English promoter because the Americans don’t want him. He can’t sell in America and definitely can’t sell in England
He ran to HBO because he was scared- Charlo
Jacobs resume isn’t that good he’s getting too much credit for going 12rds with ggg- Arias
He went to HBO to fight Luis Arias smh.
HBO is treating Jacobs with main event status and documentaries
Charlo's scare no boxersComment

Can’t wait to AJ leaves Hearn though. Which will eventually happen. He doesn’t need a promoter. He prides himself on being a strong black man so I doubt he continues to let loud mouth Hearn make money off of him.imo Hearn will take AJ to HBO to avoid the Wilder fight.Comment

Has Espinoza given up on making big fights locally and has become dependent on whatever Hearn produces?
Beyontay can't even accept anything less than 50/50, of all people.
How do you suppose to bank on a fight that is not even sure of materializing?
Spence is fighting Peterson.
Swift is fighting Rios.
Garcia is fighting Lipinets.
Are these all SHO got?Comment

This may be the final straw if these 2 clowns jump to HBO, it is so obvious who is ducking who. With Showtime in the mix, I do not see why this fight doesn’t get made to see who the real heavyweight of the champion is, that is what the REAL BOXING FANS want to find out and see once and for all. If AJ pulls it off, I will be the first to give him his props, but for now, he is a scared fraud!Comment
