Whereas, again using Crawford as an example, he either fought guys with top talent (but not skill) in Gamboa, but who weren't as big as him, or he fought guys who weren't top talents AND weren't as big as him (long list), or he fought guys who were almost as big as him, at least weight wise, like Felix Diaz, but who were not top fighters, or who were as big as him, like Postol, but were not top fighters.
So there was always one big advantage or another for Crawford, or in many of the other weight bullying situations we've seen. Inoue vs Sor Rungvisai would be different. Heck, maybe both could move up to 118 at the same time? That's also an option. The point is, both have been at 115 the last two years, and now that the dust has settled, both are the two top guys at that division, or at least Inoue is one and whoever wins the Rungvisai-Estrada fight is the other.
It was always Inoue in one bracket, and Chocolatito, Sor Rungvisai, Cuadras, and Estrada in the other. That wasn't really fair to the second bracket, but it's just the way it was set up since HBO never managed to get a top opponent for Inoue, and only ever had the other guys fighting each other. Well, now that second bracket is almost sorted out, which means it's time to see the winner of that bracket face the heir apparent, Inoue. It's been setting up for this for awhile now, so I don't understand why they won't make the fight? I know it was supposed to be Inoue-Chocolatito, which is just one more great matchup they overmarinated and ruined, but this would still be a fight everyone wants to see, especially after Sor Rungvisai knocked out Chocolatito.
So whether it happens at 118, or 115, I think Inoue needs to fight the winner. These have been the top guys in the same division the last two years, so they should fight. Whether they both move up and fight, like Lomachenko-Walters did, or they fight where they're at, I guess doesn't matter as much. But they need to fight, next.

Put on my Sicilian thinking hat Promoters promised to overpay overhype and feed Inoue bums in return for being able to promote Japanese fighters here and promote boxing in Japan they are trying to corner Asian market now billions of people to target to get a ppv base

As expected, the only shocker about the fight was one of the judges.. I don´t think Inoue is ducking anybody, he´s just growing out of the division. He´s 5´5, 24 yo and has plenty of power so why kill himself before the scales.

Do you understand what I just explained? Inoue, like Lomachenko before him, like Povetkin and Ortiz even, will either fight, or do everything in his power to fight, better opposition before his 15th or 20th fight than either Wilder or Mikey have fought, or even tried to fight, before their 35th or 40th fight. How ****** does a person have to be to not understand the difference?

I think his promoters wanted to get him some experience his first 10 - 15 fights before having him face the top guys, which is still moving him much faster than the average guy. Ward lost to Darnell Boone in the 7th fight of his career and that wasn't even a 12 rounder. At least Inoue is already fighting 12 rounders. Beyond that, HBO has a limited budget and may not have been willing to offer opponents enough money for them to want to face The Monster yet. I highly doubt he would be scared of anyone at 115 pounds.
He doesn't seem like the ducking type, which once again, is why real boxing fans support him but not the other guys bronx was illogically comparing him to in his false claim about a doubles standard. But like I said, if he ever actually does duck top competition, just post the evidence, and if it checks out, he will get the same criticism as the rest of the people ruining boxing.
