    Crawford?

    Loma?

    Rungvisai?

All better choices than Joshua. If Golovkin edged Canelo, he would have been a better choice too.

The Klitschko win was big and meaningful.

But the award is for Fighter of the Year not for Fight of the Year.

In his other outing this year Joshua had trouble against a Takam who took the fight on short notice.

Crawford on the other hand unified all 4 belts in 2017, becoming only the second man to ever do it in the four belt era.

No Fighter Of The Year is not the best fighter, otherwise Mayweather would have won every year when he was active.

The fighter of the year is the fighter the puts on the best fight, the best spectacle, the one that creates the most buzz, the fighter that most people talk about.. That's what makes you fighter of the year.

As a fighter AJ has elivated boxing and brought more attention to it with a magnificent fight that I have personally watched over and over again.

          Perfect Post.

They chose Joshua as they knew they'd get more HITS from it.

Boxingscene is NO LONGER ABOUT JOURNALISM or having any type of ethics, its just what gets most hits!

If Boxingscene genuinely think that beating a 41 year old Boxer coming off a loss and 18 months inactivity plus a 37 Year old Late Replacement who was barely Top 10 and hadn't had a Good Win in years, makes you a Fighter of the year then they need to REPLACE THEIR STAFF.

I've seen some **** articles here lately especially since they can't report on Mayweather as much but this **** right here is Cray. The guy ain't even in the top three for FOTY. **** like this does great disservice to this spectacular year of boxing that we've witnessed by just ignoring every other meaningful fight we've seen.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Parker fight doesn't happen because they have to keep the fake hype job fighter winning and that means manipulating the publics perception.
Your post doesn't even make sense. If AJ and Hearn didn't want the Parker fight, how do you explain them paying over the odds to make sure they get him in the ring?

You must have watched a different fight to me. I saw Joshua win every round and eventually force a stoppage. Given his perceived lack of stamina in other fights it was a clever fight, if not as entertaining.

It didn't take a conspiracy to make this happen, it just took a little cash.

i have a fun fact for you clowns who keep bringing up the fact that wladmir was undefeated for 9 years. after ortiz gets ktfo, deontay wilder will have been undefeated for a full decade(10years).
