I'd he leaves he'll do it to become his own boss. He won't sign with another promoter.

Eddie has taken him as far as he can, AJ knows that as does Eddie.

Dana will turn him to a WORLDWIDE superstar, not just a superstar in Britain.

Eddie can't take AJ any further, someone like Dana White would turn Joshua into THE biggest sporting star in the world.

But I'm sure 30 year old Spence "knows better" since he still makes chump change and, despite being a fringe Top 10 PFP, has zero fanbase.

Great strategy Errol. That way by the time you're 35 you'll be able to fight on a PPV undercard, maybe
3.5 million is hardly chump change

AJ won't leave Hearn and Sky, BUT Dana White knows and can see that AJ is one of those boxers that has the potentional to be a global superstar and that would be his mission - take AJ's star quality to the next level.

UFC is going to learn the same thing that Roc Nation sports learned, it isn't as simple as throwing big money around.

I would be surprised if he left Hearn. Hearn is currently the best promoter in the business and helped make him a star. Also Hearn has started co-promoting matchroom fighters along with AJ's own promotional company, which is a shrewd move by Hearn. Will Warren or White be willing for AJ to take a promotional cut out of their other fighters, I doubt it.

Would it be good for the sport if Dana White became a major player in Boxing? If AJ signs for ZUFFA BOXING who are the other potential signings Dana could make? Some say SPENCE is growing very frustrated with Al Haymon as are many others.....
Who are these "some" people? What are your sources?

Anthony Joshua's path to stardom is maxing out on PPV, in the UK and in the US.

What is Dana White going to do to make Anthony Joshua a star when the last star before Conor that you could earnestly credit to the UFC was arguably GSP?

Heck, Vince McMahon has a better track record in making actual superstars than Dana does.

Unless Zuffa Boxing is throwing out a ridiculous offer (10 fights, $500m guaranteed), Anthony Joshua would be a fool to hitch himself to Dana White (with near no contacts in the American boxing scene, nevermind anything in the UK/Europe).

Makes no sense for AJ to sign with an American promoter.

The money is here in the UK and he can always go over there and fight if he wants.

Not true. I'm positive AJ won't leave Hearn and here's why.. A few weeks ago Frank Warren on IFL said "Without AJ, Hearn has nothing and AJ's contact is up soon and we're looking to sign AJ".

Hearn replied "Matchroom will ensure AJ stays with us during his boxing career and even after it, people don't know but AJ works with Matchroom very closely behind the scene"

Sounds like Hearn realises AJ is big enough to leave him so he's made him a partner in Matchroom.. Why else would he say AJ will work with Matchroom after his boxing career is up?

AJ must have some shares in Matchroom which eliminates him working for a rival promoter, why would he work for his own rival. Okolie vs Chaberland is a small time domestic Matchroom card.. Why is AJ attending the press conference and promoting it? He's obviously getting a piece of the pie.. No one would promote another fight for free and Hearn also confirmed Matchroom is working with AJ to promote fights.

AJ is also involved in Matchroom US! He has the best UK network behind him (SKY) and is working with the best 2 networks in the US (Showtime and HBO) why would he leave all that and leave the best promoter in all boxing? He won't. I guess we'll find out after the Parker fight who promotes AJ's fight.
