Right now fans want Joshua 20-0 20kos vs Wilder 39-0 38 kos. It’s a HW superfight. GGG vs Canella best of Best each division hope they keep it up. Down the line in UK Joshua- Haye, Fury, will always sell there.

Only place that matters if you're making 20 mil there.

I think this is the biggest problem Wilder fans have. They can't stand that the UK is now the home of HW boxing.

But it's also clear that as long as Wilder demands 50/50 this fight won't happen so exploring other options is never a bad idea. Parker had Browne as a back up, Joshua had Takam as a back up for Pulev, any good promoter will cover all bases.

The Povetkin fight is a competitive one but Povetkin's promoter has made it clear that Povetkin "isn't ready" which is just a convoluted way of saying they don't want the fight.

The Haye fight is meaningless in terms of legacy as Haye is way past his best after all his injuries. But as long as Haye beats Bellew it's pretty much inevitable. There's too much money on the table for it not to be considered.
I think that's what Nelson means. Boxing fans won't like AJ vs Haye but the UK casuals - the people who buy Sky PPVs - will love it. And if it's going to happen it will have to happen soon, before Haye pops a tendon or dislocates his shoulder getting out of bed or whatever.

If Parker is going to make 12 mil for a 30-35% split how much is Joshua going to make? FFS it's not rocket science

Do you actually know this? Have you seen the contract? I see in a lot of your posts you talk about the money they are making or will make as a fact when you are not in that circle of negotiators

Is that all you can do question? "Do you actually know this?" "Have you seen the contract?"

                Has anyone seen any contract?

This is what people do when they have no defence and just want to argue. Desperate........

I don't think there's anything suspect about it.

It's plain for everyone to see, "it's all about the money"

Wilder will come when it makes financial sense to them, Otherwise it's too risky.

Seriously, people in this forum need to study some basic economics. Increase revenue while decreasing risk. Take the risk when the reward is great enough, it's not hard to understand.

We can like it or not, kick and scream, write our angry posts and shout from the hilltops "champions should fight champions" , but the harsh reality is they don't give a **** about me and you unless you're bringing in income.

I guess at least now we have a master plan for 2018 and first half of 2019.

Yeah any numbers being thrown about are really just estimates based upon what people are forecasting the fight to generate. I've seen articles saying Joshua will get £13 mill and Parker £7 mill. The $12 million number I've seen was from the NZ Herald so that will be NZD not USD which is close the the other £7 mill number.

Fact is we won't know what they will make until the PPV numbers are in and even then we never get accurate numbers from Sky unless it usually breaks a record.

But we can expect the numbers to be huge. Joshua/Wlad live gate broke a record as did £8.5 mill for 90K attendance if Joshua/Parker does 80K which it should at the same ticket price point will do £7.5 mill which alone will cover Parker's estimated purse. 1 mill PPV's which is a conservative estimate for this fight considering Joshua/Wlad dis 1.5 mill PPV buys, would bring in another £19.95 mill. So the total pot is then £27.45 mill. That would mean at 65/35 Joshua gets £17.84 mill or $23.19 mill USD.

Of course these numbers are estimates but it's easy to see how Joshua could easily make $20 mill.

A fight is a lot bigger when you have heard and followed the careers of both sides like Canelo v GGG, Floyd vs Pac man and AJ vs Klitschko.

I'd guess more boxing casuals know him as a potential Joshua opponent then anything he's done . That Hearn Stunt where he asked people in NYC who he was would be even worse if he found someone who had and then asked him who he fought.
PURE nonsense!! JOSHUA/WILDER 2018 would break HW records worldwide and u know it!
