You have no idea what would or wouldn't have happened. The WBA makes up the rules as they go along and there is no way of knowing how much longer Ortiz would have had to wait. The only thing that was guaranteed was that he could have an immediate title shot or wait in limbo for months on end. He took the sure thing.

I have far more understanding than you.

    Boxing "insiders" though
Are we supposed to be embarrassed about the fact that we work in boxing? Countless people who work in boxing post here. The only problem is that trolls like you have ruined the site and those with the most to offer tend to post the least.

The only logical reason is he fancies his chances more against Wilder.
Ortiz is taking anything he can get, no one wants anything to do with King Kong. AJ/Hearn certainly didn’t. I don’t like Wilder but fair play to him for taking a high risk low reward fight vs Ortiz

You should be embarrassed that you think you can fool people by claiming you work in boxing.

Hahahaha there's no need to hide behind computer screens. Make it worth our while and we're very willing to verify everything we've claimed. Just name the stakes.

Unless you're not willing to put your money where your mouth is?

Parker will now earn somewhere between 30-35% of the revenue split and he's reportedly going to earn around $12 million for the fight.

It will be around 90/10 in Joshua's favour, meaning Joshua can be expected to earn £10million and Carlos Takam £750,000.

                LOL

It's worth your while arguing and claiming you work in boxing but not verifying it?

                      LOL
Express Sport understands the fight would have been worth around £4million to Pulev - and it seems natural that Takam would get a similar share of the £20m purse.
