  • Who the heck is Eddie Hearn to be calling any shots around here! He is a scum bag! This fraud promoter has no fighters, they are all getting beat up, you know the names. I’m glad Wilder didn’t jump when Eddie said jump with that fraud Dillian Whyte. Eddie is like The Golden Girl, he has 1 fighter and then he is done, once Wilder lands that right hand across that glass chin, Eddie will be irrelevant. That why you are hearing guys like Poletvin, Haye and the rest of the tomatoe cans.

Who said he needed to? People are right to question why he turned down 3x the money he usually makes to fight him though. The most reasonable explanation is he thought it was too risky.

He's fighting a better fighter. Period. End of story. You can't duck someone when you choose to fight a better opponent. Luis Ortiz was the original opponent for Wilder's November fight. When that fell through they made the sensible decision to fight Bermaine Stiverne on the card. Would Whyte have been a better opponent than Stiverne? Yes. But Stiverne was Wilder's mandatory and he was already fighting on the same card. So switching to Stiverne was easy and it took that pesky mandatory fight out of the equation. Wilder would then be available to fight optional fights and unification bouts without worrying about getting stripped. He tried to get a unification bout with Joshua but when Eddie Hearn kept deficating Whyte's name as an alternative to the media while setting up Joshua/Parker instead. Wilder then made the sensible decision to pursue a fight with the reinstated Luis Ortiz.

**** Dillan Whyte. Let him earn a shot like everyone else. The good thing is that he is currently ranked #1 for Wilder's belt. As long as he keeps fighting guys ranked by the WBC and winning those fights he'll get his chance eventually. Maybe he can fight someone like Andy Ruiz. Or maybe he can fight Charles Martin or Dominic Breazeale. Maybe then he can build up his name in the US to become more worthy of a fight with Wilder while making the definitive case that he is the best of Joshua's sloppy seconds.

So no, it is not that complicated. Robbie Barrett provided proof for his position which I showed wasn't proof of anything.
It doesnt matter what that video says bc ive seen the WBC president address it . It WAS addressed even during the fight that the winner of Molina and Breazeale WOULD get the title fight no martter what you WANT to decipher to be right .

Do you really think Whyte was complaining when they announced it for nothing ? Even Hearn was puzzled how Breazeale got it on his twitter account ! I even explained it to him bc he didnt know how a ranked 7 guy gets it, he wasn't taking into account 3 guys were losing their spots in Nov . to add to the situation ???? lol

That's YOUR opinion maybe Wilder had a different opinion and see's Whte as a better fighter? I mean Ortiz hasn't looked great in his last few fights has he?

I agree about Whyte in regards that Ortiz is a better fighter. So it's hard to criticise him for that choice even though it doesn't make financial sense. I don't think Wilder is scared of anyone, but Haymon won't risk him against anyone dangerous he hasn't signed like Ortiz.

But Whyte being mandatory doesn't mean anything really. How many voluntary defences did Wilder get, 5? It took Wilder almost 3 years to face his first mandatory opponent. Whyte may need to wait til 2020 or 2021 for his shot. Haymon is great at delaying WBC mandatories, Stevenson hasn't faced his mandatory either for 2 years.

Except that it DOES matter because I was commenting on the guys response to the video. He was acting like the video said something it didn't say. All that other stuff doesn't matter.

If Whyte keeps winning and Wilder fights Stevenson's level of opposition instead of Joshua or other top guys then I will criticize him as well. Stevenson's opposition has been pathetic.

Well neither has Dillan Whyte. But at least there was a time Ortiz was a scary dude. Whyte never scared anyone.

So White has been looking better than Ortiz?
