I forgot that Floyd thanks Al Haymon for everything he did for his career not the other way around... how many ”I want to thank floyd for what he’s done for him, PBC, or anything ” articles have you read that had thank you quotes from AL! I wonder why al ain’t publicly come out and thank mayweather for letting him be apart of those fights you mentioned lmfao because Haymon is the MAN!

Question: did those go to purse bids? & are all those fighters under the same stable? Bruh you’re doing the most

Anthony Joshua prepared to relinquish WBA belt to pursue Kubrat Pulev fight

        4 August 2017

Anthony Joshua is prepared to risk being stripped of his WBA heavyweight title to continue pursuing a fight with Kubrat Pulev.

Following Wladimir Klitschko’s retirement, the governing body have demanded that Joshua – the WBA and IBF champion – fights Cuba’s Luis Ortiz.

Pulev, the mandatory challenger to Joshua’s IBF title, became his focus since the proposed rematch with Klitschko ceased being an option.

Press Association Sport understands that the Bulgarian is still expected to be Joshua’s next opponent, regardless of the WBA’s potential intervention.

Should the fight with Pulev in either Cardiff or Las Vegas imminently be confirmed for October 28 or November 11, the WBA could choose to make their title vacant so that Ortiz can challenge for it.

However, Joshua recognises the same risk applies with the IBF title should he prioritise the undefeated Ortiz, 38, over the 36-year-old Pulev.

“According to the resolution sent on January 11th, 2017, to both parties, it was reported that the winner of the Joshua-Klitschko fight, held on April 29th, 2017, had to face Ortiz after 120 days,” read a statement from the WBA.

Ortiz or Pulev? AJ went with Pulev! THAT'S GAY!
Joshua would have got stripped by the IBF thats why . They were LEGALLY next up NOT team Ortiz .

You can post all the articles you like at the end of the day Ortiz CHOSE to fight Wilder even though he KNEW he was getting Joshua next . Clearly you are either not that smart or trolling

None. He's an ungrateful SOB as well as a lousy boxing manager.

So his promoter is only willing to pay him more if he goes to purse bids?

You do know Whyte wasn't a mandatory so there was no option for purse bids right?

Round and round they go. Looking like idiots.

He was going to get stripped by either one, the WBA, or the IBF, and he chose IBF Pulev over Ortiz! Why was he "prepared to be stripped" by the WBA (as the article states), but not the IBF? You can play it anyway you want, but AJ swerved an undefeated Ortiz for Pulev, who had already been KO'd by Klitschko! Meanwhile Wilder jumped at the chance for Ortiz, and now it's going down!

Mayweather was his own promoter ,and sold himself just like Wilder is doing now except hes not Floyd by any stretch . He ACTUALLY needs a mouth piece or at least better marketing and basing it out of Alabama wasnt a very smart management plan was it ?

Haymon is not a aggressive promoter hes a guy with money who hires others to go out and speak .

It's pretty simple, Joshua fought Wlad. Please state Wilder's comparable opponent...

Question, who is his WBC mandatory now? & when was the Whyte fight proposed? Don’t worry I’ll wait! Defeat Bernice who was the mandatory & look who’s next in line for that purse bid if a agreement can’t be reached when it’s time to fight and do you really believe that he will make less than that 3 mill Eddie offered out the gate... hmm
