**** no. it doesn't hurt flooyd's legacy if he loses in the ring!
your losses don't take your wins away. they don't even hurt your resume if you're 40 and over the hill.
your wins in boxing are your accomplishments. the guy is in his 40's and he's had 50 fights. he's supposed to lose if he keeps fighting guys in their 30's. "prime fighters" used to be in their 20's. that's how this game works. it's changed, but losses when you're all done are still losses when you're all done. virtually every great fighter had them. and nobody talks about them, because nobody gives a ****. we remember the wins, IE the accomplishments. in floyd's case he was a pound for pound fighter in the 90's, 2000's, and 2010's, and was considered the best fighter in the world in the parts of the 2000's and 2010's.Comment

I don't think so but it sure would give MMA fans something to brag about and laugh at boxing. I doubt it happens and I think it's just Dana White talking BS.If they pay him a billion bucks for 4 fights they will lose a huge amount of money.Comment

If arguably the greatest (certainly one of the greatest) boxer ever got humiliated in the cage after a long career of dominant wins and no losses, what would that say? It certainly makes the sport of MMA look superior to boxing. Floyd's boxing record would still be unblemished, but the image of him getting fucked in the octagon would probably forever stick out in people's minds. It definitely chips away at his aura no matter how you slice it.Comment
