    Have we been overateing Spence?

Spence is a top p4p fighter he has now proven his worth but people are starting to over hype his skills. His main weakness is his lack of defence he is very hittable and shown he lacks the fast reflexes and speed to be next Floyd like many claim, he also has shown he is vulnerable to a great jab and and a good uppercut. He def has some of the best offence in the game and proved he can box. But offence can only take you so far until you meet a guy with the skill set reflexes and toughness to get the job done. You need to be a well rounded all around fighter to be the next 1 p4p king.

Yes his defense is very leaky, He seems to have cement feet and no upperbody movement at all

I like Spence a lot and I think he will go far.

      But you know hype trains.

      They run at full steam.

He's beaten Algieri, Bundu and Brook who was coming off a loss.

      Not exactly HOF stuff.

I'm fine with him and look forward to seeing him grow as a fighter but he's far from number one.

Compared to how some people hype others who haven't fought anyone I think Spence is actually underrated.

Yeah, think his size advantage is his ace in the hole. He'd probably look ordinary at 154 and I see Thurman and Crawford giving him major problems at 147.

Like any fighter Spence has his flaws. But, from what I've seen no one has forced him to fight differently then the way he wants to, the fighter that can beat him will be the one that either:
              1. Fights on the inside and midrange better than Spence does
              2. Forces Spence to fight off of the backfoot

I don't know why people consider Spence at top 10 P4P. He had only beaten Brook who was coming off of a loss, a surgery and 13 pound drain from 160 to 147.

Spence and p4p or elite or special should not be used in the same sentence. He hasn't done shhh yet to deserve any of those titles. He has promising talent and good power but he's had one notable fight. No disrespect to the kid or his fans but let's hold all boxers to the same standard. If you put Kell Brook as the one stand out on anyone else's resume nobody would be calling them any of those titles. Let's see what he does with his next two years in the sport and I have a feeling we'll be seeing him move up in weight sooner rather than later. He's a big kid making fighting naturally smaller men at this weight. Which is fine so long as he can make the weight but that's going to get hard eventually.
