Yet, you knew before the bout of the weigh difference and still picked the Cuban and have had a meltdown/breakdown since.

So either you severely overestimated what the Cuban could do or severely underestimated what the European could do or perhaps both? Your not known for your objectivity so it's probably a blend of both.

Has to go down as a disappointing pro career given his amateur background.
That's one negative way to view things considering he is small at his own weight of 122 (he's outweighed by all of his opponents on fight night) and he fought the best p4p fighter in the world 2 weight classes higher at 130.

You know he doesn't have more wins and significant at that, because all 122 pounds ran for their life. He got frustrated by the lack of fighters without balls. So he went for a payday. That is all...

He spent a long time talking the talk. When it came to walking the walk, he failed miserably. No mas.

yeah maybe but with the high expectations he had, people like roach saying hes the best fighter hes ever seen, i'd have thought he was expected to have a hall of fame career and hes nowhere near it in my opinion. As i said, the lomachenko loss could have been less of a catastrophe if he had a solid body of work to fall back on but theres not a lot there looking back on it.

maybe but then youve got someone like lomachenko who overtook him in half the time and hasnt had problems getting fights. rigos had 8 years to make an impression as a pro.

The thing is when it was clear Rigo couldn't get names at 122 to step in the ring he should have moved up earlier then. Nobody at 126 was willing to fight Loma in 2015-2016 (including Rigo and Walters who turned down fights) so he moved up to 130 and has said if nobody is willing to unify there he's moving up again.

Loma has had a problem getting fights but he's still made it happen. Walters it took over a year to get him in the ring and same with Rigo. The other 126 guys didn't want to face him.

Well we should consider the fact Loma is the best right. Also the fact none of the top fighters around Rigo's weight class are willing to fight him.

Loma himself has not fought the best. Rigo's win over Donaire is better than any win Loma has other than his own loss to him.

Hopefully after this, more opponents will be willing to fight Rigo but I know this isn't the case.
