    Rigondeaux.

Now that Lomachenko beat him, what's the verdict on Rigondeaux?

That he lost going to classes up after chasing him for years at a catch that Floma ducked when the Cuban was originally ranked higher on the p4p list before the Euro came into the scene

Slightly overrated, and that's coming from an ex Rigo fan.

his career consists of one good win in 8 years and one bad loss where he quit. If he'd been more active and had more big fights then you could forgive the lomachenko loss somewhat, but after that loss theres not much of a resume to fall back on. Has to go down as a disappointing pro career given his amateur background.

Rigo is still ranked in the p4p. Industry acknowledges circumstances. If Rigo were taken off, then it would put more pressure for Loma to fight Garcia to be #1....you know...since everyone acknowledged two classes northbound. 135 seems rather generous. 138 is more ideal

He was in over his head at the weight. I still have tons of respect for him.

a great talent whos career was black balled after the donaire win, was severely ducked by everyone who mattered and had to go up 2 weights to get a decent fight n got outclassed by the better fighter in loma.

Still an excellent fighter that could still win world titles against top opposition, but I've got a feeling that his career will slide away from him now. He's never fought enough for whatever reason and the way he quit was embarrassing.

Rigo is a fantastic talent who developed technique that very very few boxers have ever had.
At 37 years old with over 500 fights in his life time he retired in the corner against a much younger, bigger and equally accomplished amateur boxer.
Why "fans" here knock this guy just shows how very little is known about the sport on this site.

Great technical boxer with a very high IQ who had far to many bouts in the amateurs and started very late in the pro's. Finding quality opponents for a top tier boxer when the weights are below 126lbs has always been difficult to do.
