    Crawford is #1

better depth to his resume, and his skills/style are just as effective..... if not more so

despite Loma's obvious skillset, Crawford is a very well-rounded fighter himself

I predicted that Loma will be the P4P king awhile back, nearly two years ago..... both guys are still coming on, lets wait and see

Cannot wait to see crawford exposed at 147.
Well, that's not P4P. They were not the same weight. Rigo looked two or three divisions smaller.

there is no definitive #1 at the moment. andre ward had that spot after stopping kovalev but it didnt last long. now its vacant again. there is no #1.

if the winner of canelo/ggg wins emphatically thats where my vote would be. no close disputed decision. that sht dont get u top spot in my book. but if i was forced to pick I'll say lomachenko for sure. you could btch and moan about rigo size and age all u want, he made a ranked pound 4 pound opponent who hasn't lost since the amateurs quit like a hoe!

crawford cleaned out 140 and with his skillset I cant pick nobody beating him at 147 either. the guy looks invincible.

either one has a case to the top spot thats why its not definitive.

They should settle the question in the ring at 140. Crawford could delay his move to welter for one fight. Let's do it, Arum!

It's all musical chairs. I like both fighters and I'm okay with either being #1 or #2 which is mythical anyway. Time will cause both to stay up there or shift into another direction possibly.

You could tell by people's comments who they expect more out of.
And people usually expect more out of the guy they think is better.

If Loma fights Ogawa or Machado (two title holders in his weight class) I bet people will get mad, but they were fine when Crawford decided to clean up that whack division of 140 pounds.
It works both ways perhaps the folks who liked Crawford's clean up job at 140 would criticize Loma doing that even at 135 (Linares, Beltran and Garcia I think would be criticized by them) but also the folks that are taking a dump on Crawford's run at 140 would glorify Loma doing the same at 130.

Only a small % can see and call things objectively.

Clearly he walks around at way less than 160lbs if that is what he weighs with all that extra weight of clothing and shoes etc etc.
Was that an official scale he used? If he walks around under 160 - why didn't he make the weight vs Marquez? He couldn't cut 10-15 pounds in a training camp?

Explain how Mikey should be ahead of Loma. That is really crazy talk. Since Loma has started boxing hes won 9 title fights in a row including 7 ko's in a row and made his last 4 opponents quit. Hes beaten Russel Jr and Walters at their weight. Beat Rigo, a couple other top fighters. He has a much improved fighting style than he did when he fought Salido in his 2nd pro fight and still had the amateur fighting style.

In that same time Mikey has only fought 5 times, only 3 that were title fights and only 3 knockouts with his best win against Broner. Mikey is a great fighter but he hasnt done much in the last few years and doesn't dominate his opponents like Loma does. I think Crawford is #1 with Loma close behind, and Ggg and Canelo are close behind Loma. Winner of Canelo Ggg should probably go to #1 unless Loma or Crawford beat a top level opponent in the spring.
