I said all these qoutes before the fight & reposted them to prove to people im not someone doing what they claim of downplaying lomas win because my guy supposedly lost. I've NEVER been a fan of rigo because his boring style(though I think its very skilled style) I said that rigo was too inactive & old COMBINED with jumping 2 divisions,but that inactivity is why I gave him ZERO chance, but I said I still gave Loma his credit just not nowhere near as much as if he kod garcia/berchelt/easter(obviously). I just don't think hes p4p top 3 YET,but I do consider him a top 10 p4p fighter.

he was doing that because he is younger and stronger. lomachenko was at 132 in the amateurs. he trimmed down for a few fights but couldn't hold the weight longer. Rigondeuax was 112 pounds in the amateurs, and some say that he could go lower if he desired. So those 20 lbs difference was even magnified by the age difference to. Younger and reaching his prime. The other in decline, older and in a heavier weight class, he not even walk around with that much weight. I rooted for him but my brain was telling me his was done against this great boxer, younger and bigger. And no, if Rigondeaux was the younger and bigger, the result would had been reverse.

The bottom line is one fighter clearly had more skills and tools, dominated the fight, and the other guy quit without a single broken bone or fight-ending injury.

the bottom line is: One boxer was younger, in his own weight class and very skilled. The other older, heavier and with a lot of ***** going on. It was an up hill battle. I'm not defending Rigondeaux but the facts remains. Every time they clinch Rigondeaux looked like a toddler been shake by an angry bad stepfather. It wasn't even close.
