LOL I hear ya. Also Rigo could have been the same natural weight and age as Loma, and the fight still would have went the exact same way.

I thought Rigo had little to no chance of actually winning the fight but I expected him to at least try to win since this was a good stage for him to show what he's made of win lose or draw, but to my disappointment he put on a disgraceful display where he didn't really try to even make it competitive. It looked like he was trying to take the least amount of punishment for the payday.

Credit to Lomachenko nonetheless, I don't think his size didn't have a lot to do with how the fight played out.

I agree 100% with everything but the second paragraph. Lol

I didn’t expect Rigo to win either, but I expected him to at least try. I would never have imagined he’d go out the way he did. Few could have. It was disgusting. Maybe the worst thing was, Rigondeaux was barely touched. It’s not like he was getting tagged by hard shots and decided to call it a day. Rigo was clutching onto Lomachenko and bending at the waist so much that there was hardly any opportunity for punches to be thrown, much less land.

Yes it did. Every time they clinch Rigondeaux felt the strength. He was treated like a rag dog. That plays into you head if someone is manhandling you. Never though he will quit that way. I guess he got some advise from Gamboa.

            On another note, merry Christmas!
He held out for more money and Arum didn't want to pay him. Loma should've said pay the man. And you're right Salido did unretire so Loma has a chance at redemption. Not rematching a man who beat you is bad in my book. Almost terrible. Hopefully Loma can make the rematch. And Merry Christmas to you too.

How do you know when all we saw was the bigger Loma beat a smaller Rigo?

I know because of the clash of styles. If you knew how Rigo truly fought and what he looks for, you would know Loma was totally wrong for him.

Loma was already cutting 4lbs from 130lbs when he "started" at Featherweather even though he was already at 132 since 2011 towards Lightweight Gold. For a 124 catch, Loma would also have to give up 6lbs. Loma rehydrates to 145 on fight night. That's 21lbs, and without the juice...be it Top Rank...Loma wouldn't be able to perform as he's a superb calibrated athlete...keep in mind Meldonium was banned in 2015. This was a huge PED substance with Eastern Europe athlete's aND is the main reason for Russian absence in Rio and in the next Olympics...

There's a consistent reason why Loma didn't want Rigo; the weight cut and Top Rank with their anti doping methods. Rigo wanted USADA for Donaire...Bob made it a big deal to only have affiliatedone HBO Vada...WITH Conte ditching camp with Donaire... odd

Point is, Loma didn't want Rigo at the catch, all when Rigo was higher P4P way before Loma. Loma didn't want it.
