Who was Jeff Lacy's best win?

And why do the Brits hold him in such high regard?

    a faded robin reid???

and because calzaghe's resume is horrible so they have to pretend someone is good. lacy was worse than berto in reality.

Im a brit unfortunately but I don't care for lacy but the majority of sheeple over here would hold lacy in high esteem purely because calzaghe beat him which for some reason I can't comprehend propels lacy to goat opponent level for calzaghe/some brit fans not all though including myself.

Lacy was unproven and calslappy ovverrated and protected. Struggled to win and got dropped by a 43 year old hopkins that says it all

It would be similar to Wilder vs. Joshua going down, Joshua winning emphatically, and then Americans downplaying the win by saying "What's Wilder's best win? Bermane Stiverne?"

Lacy didn't beat anyone but he was a heavily hyped, undefeated American champion that was supposed to beat Calzaghe's white ass. Calzaghe turned the tables and routed Lacy. That's why the win is held in high regard by them.

Lacy's best accomplishment is having the honor of being slapped around by Calzaghe.

Calzaghe probably gave it away himself just how good Lacy was.

Wasn't it like the 1st or 2nd round when Calzaghe began yelling, "He's shlt! He's shlt!" over and over on his stool and his father had to calm him down and get him to refocus.

Lacy definitely had some hype behind him, and let's be honest, the Brits relish a chance to beat up on a "yank hype," the same as Americans love a chance to expose a British boxer. Always something special about these matchups. But there was definitely something extra about how Calz destroyed Lacy. It was a complete, utter embarrassment; a schooling. Slappy even knocked Lacy down in the 12th. Just typing all of that, I really feel sorry for Lacy. Imagine how that wrecked his confidence and his reputation with everyone he knows.

But again, the point is, Calz let everyone know right away that Lacy was shlt.

He was a hypejob from the get go kinda like Lucian Bute. He didnt beat anybody good in particular but then he looked good in beating them so hype train was on.

I dont give calzaghe too much credit. Calzaghe slaps like a girl. *** calzaghe
