wtf. thurman sqeaked his way to a split decision win. nobody would be upset had danny won that. it was that close. so garcia is right up there with all those guys you mentioned. hes an elite welter. period. and crawford hasn't done a damn thing at 147 yet why even include him.

Because Danny would be easy work for Crawford. That should have been a UD, only a fanboy or 2 see it the way you did. Danny would get destroyed by Spence, Porter will UD him and Crawford would use him as a tune up and put him out in 5. I dont expect Danny to fight any top dog any time soon.

Garcia is a good fighter who needs this win to keep getting good paydays. I do not think he is a gate keeper "yet". But this will sure tell the tale where he is.

147 is monsters row at the top, and not too shabby one level beneath. There are a ton of interesting fights for Garcia, so long as he proves to be interesting still, himself. I bet he does.

I agree Danny’s not a gatekeeper, but I don’t know if this fight tells us much about where he’s at...unless Rios shocks. Brandon should not be fighting at this point, and probably should’ve stopped some time ago. No man his age should be slurring his speech. It’s scary and sad. He was always a walking punching bag, and I don’t see that changing versus Garcia.

As a fight, in and of itself, it ought to be pretty good. Mainly people are just mocking Danny for talking about 'taking over' at 147.

Funny statement for someone fighting Rios, but I got no problem with that fight. Will be exciting while it lasts and Rios is still a viable contender.
