Once Canelo beats Golovkin in the rematch he will need a challenge. Who better than boxing master chess player Billy Joe Saunders? I'm sure if Canelo had the opportunity to become undisputed middleweight champion he wouldn't duck that opportunity the way Grolovkin did in December. The one guy besides Charlo that Blow Job Saunders matches up poorly with is Daniel Jacobs. And Hearn-Warren don't work together and wouldn't for a small money fight. Why would Blow Job Saunders travel to America to lose his belt in New York to Jacobs and lose out on the big buck ultra showdown with super ultra mega all star and future hall of famer Canelo Alvarez? Sure he loses to the face of boxing Canelo Alvarez as well but atleast he gets exposure and a good pay day instead of the scraps he'd make fighting Jacobs. Jacobs just fought Arias. Its a good win but not as good as the Lemieux win. So your a contender and your level of comp is below that of Blow Job Saunders recently. Man up and fight Charlo for the glory and earn that title shot or just keep milking that prime position with HBO. The fights will come soon enough anyway.

Andrade sure but Jacobs and Charlo have shown a willingness to test themselves already. That Charlo-Centeno fight is a very decent stay busy fight imo. Centeno has that amateur pedigree and is rangy. You can only fight who they put in front and I have zero confidence Andrade would fight any threat. Andrade is a joke that will never risk anything and will wait to fight for a vacant belt. Its a joke to even bring him up in the same breath with real fighters like Jacobs and Charlo.

            Jacobs/GGG/Canelo wreck this bum

            ummm.....

            1) no idea how you came to that conclusion ?

            2) that is not even relevant, because the money is Canelo

            the first point.....

            * there was nothing in the Golovkin/Jacobs fight, it was VERY close..... I would not bet a dollar on Golovkin in a rematch, nor would I on Jacobs

            * there was nothing in the Golovkin/Canelo fight, it was very close..... I would not bet a dollar on Golovkin in a rematch, nor would I on Canelo (well, maybe 50c)

            * you have no idea if Canelo can beat Jacobs

a more accurate ranking would be.....

            1) Golovkin/Canelo/Jacobs (3 fights need to happen)
            2) Saunders
            3) the rest

truth be known, Saunders is in that mix, as are others

160 is FULL of unanswered questions, there is no "the man" at middleweight

BJS is right, the only 160 that bring $$$ are GGG and Canelo. Jacobs got 3X his biggest purse when he lost to GGG in front of a sold out MSG. Only time Danny has fought in front of a sold out arena. Last fight he fought Arias, in front of 3K people. Jacobs needs to stay busy against guys like Andrade or Charlo and get back in line for a mandatory shot. BJS hoping GGG wins so he can have undisputed fight, Canelo won’t fight him for a while after that last slick performance.

Kovo was the Champion, that’s why he got the rematch, plus his loss was controversial as he had the knockdown of Ward and most people thought he won the first fight and should have retained his Titles.

No controversy for GGG Jacobs as GGG won at lest 7 rounds PLUS the knockdown of Jacobs. GGG lost respect for Jacobs when he broke his contract and didn’t do the second day weighin because he was much heavier than 170 limit. No reason to do rematch with Jacobs because he brings no money to the table.

I think Jermall has the potential to be "the man" at 160. It should be interesting in in the next two or 3 years to see who comes out on top. I bet after lil g loses to Nelo again he will go to 168 to stay clear of a Jacobs rematch or even entering the ring with Jermall in this 160 division.
