So because his fans were mostly white that means they are racist?

9/11 happened in 2001, Hatton-Mayweather was 2007. You utter spastic.

Yeah only a couple of years after when they were in a full blown war with Those countries responsible.UK was helping the US.So why the hell did it make sense to have Uk fans boo the anthem that's a sign in North America of total disrespect. As i say it sums the mindset and level of intelligence from Hatton's fans which was a bunch of hooligans and chavs from Manchester.

It's sporting banter. That's what's done in many sports like football. Nobody gives a **** about your national anthem. It's played too much anyway, you look for any damn reason to play that ****. How is 6 years a couple? How is playing the national anthem at a boxing match 6 years later related to 9/11? You're ****ing ******ed.

You still haven't explained how being mostly white makes Hatton fans racist.

Wilder.....the most popular/famous/well-known boxer of the past 10 years was Floyd Mayweather jr, a black man. Before him it was Roy Jones Jr, another black man. Before him it was Iron Mike Tyson, another black man. Before him it was Sugar Ray Leonard, another black man. Before him it was Ali, another black man.

Just give it up mang, yo "bama powah" ain't schit. You've spent too much time ducking real comp and fighting bums. Running your mouth doesn't earn you fans, beating top comp does.

          • Wilders problem

Wilder's issue with lack of respect isn't that he is black, it's that he is not very likeable. His personality rubs people the wrong way. I grew up a boxing fan since I was 3, I have seen Ali, Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Frazier and other great boxing heavyweight champions. Wilder is one of those rare unlikeable champions. Holmes was one, Lewis was one, Klitscho's to a certain degree with Fury being another to a lesser extent. Wilder doesn't have that charisma or personality like the other champions. Tyson was a monster in his prime blitzing through the division, Holyfield was a quiet warrior, Foreman was knocking everyone out, Lewis eventually started to get the big fights later in his career, Ali even though he had the personality fought tough tough wars. Wilder's problem isn't that he is black he isn't the guy. He probably needs better managers for his career to help market him better as well.

I am black and I am insulted that Wilder would use that card. He needs to fight everyone available and let his fists do the talking and keep his mouth shut. He doesn't have the same charisma like the past black and non black heavyweight champions. Wilder needs to look at Louis, Ali, Tyson, Holyfield, Leonard, Hearns, Foreman and other champions and learn his history before he starts mouthing off about his race.

Very very well said. I couldn't say it better myself. These guys also set PPV records.

Yes it does, for all races. But if he were white, he wouldn't be excepted by the blacks or Mexicans so pick your poison

For me, it's more of a style thing, and GGG's face first, stiff, robotic style doesn't do it. His competition is average as well.

Usyk, Loma, and Saunders are something else!
I disagree what you stated about GGG. Golovkin has minimalist defense (and offense). It isn't as exaggerated as someone like Billie Joe Saunder's or Canelo Alvarez's. Hence, it isn't as recognizable or noticeable by boxing fans who don't pay deeper attention beyond the superficial stuff. His ability to position his body to not get hit, or parry / block punches is only second to Vasyl Lomachenko.

Most of the criticism about Golovkin lacking defense, or being one dimensional are just false narratives and urban myths / legends. His results speak for themselves. There may be some boxers who are better than Golovkin defensively, but he is nowhere near as bad as you're making it seem like in this particular department.

In actual matter of fact, Golovkin did a better job defensively and offensively against David Lemieux and Willie Monroe Jr, than Billie Joe Saunders did against those same opponents. Difference was, Golovkin's style uses minimal effort but is far more effective whilst Billie Joe Saunder's style uses more effort but is less effective. Hence the reason why Golovkin managed to stop Lemieux and Billie Joe Saunders could not.

Golovkin's punching power is nothing special! His punching power, along with punching power in general is overrated. He has top notch offensive skills to along with his far above average defensive skills. Hence, why he stops most of his opponents.

The type of boxer you're describing isn't Golovkin but someone like Vasily Jirov. Now that's a boxer who is very limited in terms of boxing skills. There's a gulf of difference in boxing skills between Golovkin and Jirov and if you fail to recognise it, then you don't understand boxing enough. That's just the reality.

Just so you know, I also believe Joshua has better defense than Fury but it is less flashy / flamboyant / exaggerated compared to Fury's. Hence, Fury's 'skills' appear better than they actually are whilst Joshua's go unnoticed.

                  • Deontay Wilder made a massive mistake leaving Golden Boy Promotions.

(His media appeal, is in some ways all his own fault! His idea of self promotion is ranting and raving on Instagram! I have not seen him on any american talk shows, and I don't understand why he has not fought in the UK!)...
