The key qualifier is "IF",& I doubt it, as he knows he has lil chance to win. But I wouldn't have anything bad to say if he just starts fighting elite fighters from 130-135 (beltholders), the only hope I have for him facing Mikey is that Arum knows that if loma starts fighting other 130-135 lbers then theres a good chance he gets beat again like he did vs Salido when that was supposed to be a safe fight.

Your guys keep acting like Loma hasnt beat any top fighters at 130. Lomas 1st fight at 130 was against Rocky Martinez who was Wbo champion and had beat Salido, Burgos and a couple other top fighters and Loma knocked him out cold. His 2nd fight at 130 he dominated and made Walters quit. Walters was undefeated and was WBA champion at 130 and had lost the belt at the scales when he fought Marriaga, and he had knocked out Donaire, Darchinyan, and was considered the top fighter at 130 before Bob shelved him for ducking Loma. Then he takes the fight 11 months later and Walters agrees to fight him and a lot of you were saying Walters was too skilled and was too good of a counterpuncher, Loma made him look like an amateur and say no mas, Who else at 130 has accomplished what Loma has? And now you have this narrative of he has to fight champions in his weight class to prove himself, not to mention guys like Tank Davis are blatantly ducking him without any shame. He got stripped of the title at the scales but Tank is still considered one of the best in the division and Mayweather is protecting him

You can find hours of footage on Youtube of Mayweather giving one reason after another of why he didnt want to fight Pacquiao. When it came to negotiations Pacquiao agreed to fight with a week cutoff day and a test after the fight too and Mayweather backed out. Meanwhile Usada came to his house before the Pacquiao fight and Mayweather had them wait while he got massive amounts of saline and vitamins pumped into his veins. Mikey is just name dropping Lomachenko but he's been making excuses for a while now why the fight can't happen. He first said TV ratings (Loma's are stronger now), he said "I already beat Martinez", now Loma has added more names and it's something different.

He name dropped Cotto too with no intention of fighting him.

Arum is a crook but Mikey is no angel. This is the guy who was making great paydays under Top Rank asked for Gamboa got Gamboa and went away.

Mikey just gonna keep throwing shade and name dropping bigger names but fighting guys with the same style. Limited, slow footed aggressive fighters he can light up.

Yeah, I struggle trying to figure out what Loma’s options are. Especiall if Linares fights Garcia later next year.

What options does Garcia have besides Loma,i think maybe he's a little to small for welter, and at 140 he couldn't hurt broner,think he's to small for big strong men like spence,140 are no decent fighters either of Loma's caliber,i think they both kinda need each other

Yeah lupines and easter, but not at the caliber and credit he would get if he wins from Loma,then he has to go to Welter as you say, but then he's face guys like porter,crawford,thurman and spence, money wise would be better for him no doubt, but he's small thereby think someone like porter just bulldozes through him
