  • Bob arum is known to lie. He lied before stating x fighter wanted too much money to come and find out that was false.

Bob is a veteran promoter and he knows this sport is fast moving nothing really matters, tell a lie today in a few it will be on to the next fighter, next situation etc and everyone will move on.

Mr. Yesterday I was Lying, Today I am Telling The Truth.

Not saying those guys are better than Loma or that he’d win at welter. He simply has more options.

        • theres a picture of mikey and loma look at that size difference its even bigger than loma vs rigo mikey has turned into a jr welter i think loma would fare well at the beginning but if mikey rehydrates to 150 which he easily can hell use his weight just like salido did to negate lomas matrix moves he to smart and solid boxer to get played like loma has other fighters. i think this is unmakable mikey is talking bout thurman he even wante to be cottos last opponent going from cotto to loma is a big ton of lbs coming down all that up and down in weight will screw mikey up phisically and i think robert is smart enough to know this mikey will probably not return to lightweight anymore.

Nope, he's chasing paper titles instead of tough fights. Left behind, Loma, Linares, and Easter for the wasteland of 140 and a paper title against Lipinetts or whoever he is.

Lomas 1st fight at 130 was against Rocky Martinez who was Wbo champion and had beat Salido, Burgos and a couple other top fighters and Loma knocked him out cold. His 2nd fight at 130 he dominated and made Walters quit. Walters was undefeated and was WBA champion at 130 and had lost the belt at the scales when he fought Marriaga, and he had knocked out Donaire, Darchinyan, and was considered the top fighter at 130 before Bob shelved him for ducking Loma. Then he takes the fight 11 months later and Walters agrees to fight him and a lot of you were saying Walters was too skilled and was too good of a counterpuncher, Loma made him look like an amateur and say no mas, Who else at 130 has accomplished what Loma has? And now you have this narrative of he has to fight champions in his weight class to prove himself, not to mention guys like Tank Davis are blatantly ducking him without any shame. He got stripped of the title at the scales but Tank is still considered one of the best in the division and Mayweather is protecting him
I can tell you make a lot of assumptions like most Loma fans. I have always tried to be way more unbiased than most,I have said many times Lomas a very skillful fighter, his resume is way OVERRATED. That doesn't mean hes never fought anyone good,I conceded he has fought 2 good opponents with some minor caveats(there usually is in boxing).

My point remains valid no matter your excuses of making it sound as if Lomas been fighting a bunch of legit 130 lbers when in reality out of his 5 fights at 130(his last 5 fights) hes fought 2 good opponents rocky/walters,2 completely easy fights despite what his fanbois claimed about Rigo, I told everyone hed ko him in 8 rds,I said the exact reason too which was because he had barely fought in 3 yrs & is 37 yrs old,NOT just because he was too small I just knew he was cashing in, I've never been a rigo fan whatsoever either so stop assuming everyone believed rigo was a test,as usual you can always use clowns opinions as a basis to hype up a win but it means nothing when most experts said rigo was too small.

He made marriaga move up right after a 12 rd demolishing at fw & sosa was a decent win but I rate Berchelt better than all of them just as I do easter & linares. He lost to a 2 lbs heavy salido but I'm not rubbing it in like you assume. My point is with all these fights is that Loma needs to still be MORE proven vs actual elite fighters his own size. My point is merely lomas nowhere near p4p top 3 imo. He is p4p top 10 but his resume isn't proven enough for me.

Arum usually says what he means unlike Mikey who talks big about wanting to fight Crawford and Loma and Easter Jr. and Cotto but ends up fighting Lipinets. Mikey is the biggest fraud in boxing. Hes scared of Loma

Loma beat Gary Russel, Nicholas Walters, and Rigo who were all considered A level opponents, has won 9 title fights in a row, 7 knockouts in a row, made his last 4 opponents quit including Walters and Rigo. The way hes dominating and making highly rated opponents quit seperates him from everyone else including Crawford. Even Mayweather never made guys quit the way Loma is lets be realistic
