If you find squashing bums interesting Wilder is your guy his entire record is loaded with them.

They needed to find sponsors to host the Parker-Ruiz fight in New Zealand. A Parker-Fury fight would likely run into those same issues. Shoot, folks were unsure that the Parker-Fury fight would happen because there were doubts that both fighters would get paid.

There has been nothing shown by Parker that says that he could compete with Joshua. He leaves openings that Joshua can capitalize on.

The same could be said for Joshua.

walking boxing bag brezeale lasted 7 rounds with aj. Parker will go far more.

I bet you thought takam would only last a round with aj too.

              Get off the hype train.

Parker had a sold out stadium in nz ready for fury. Until he pulled out 2 weeks before the fight. Quite ironic.

You don't know what your talking about.

The pathetic fury promotion and lack of attendance hurt the fury camp financially but made no difference to parkers Pay day. Ppv numbers were great for Australia and nz. That's all they cared about.

Smart move by parkers promoter to get aus nz ppv rights and let furys pathetic promoter take all the risk for their horrible promotion of the fight.

"In addition to Wednesday's developments, Higgins also revealed that the New Zealand Government had rejected Duco's requests for sponsorship assistance.

'We did put in an application in quite comprehensive to look for some sponsorship support and in return the benefits of global promotion and everything that comes with it, we received a letter advising that no there would not be any support.'

The same situation occurred before the Andy Ruiz fight in December with the New Zealand Government refusing to offer assistance. Subsequently, Duco Events had to seek help from the Samoan Government."

This is before the fight between Parker and Fury that was scheduled for May 6th where Hughie couldn't fight because of a back injury after the whole issue with Peter Fury scrapped the fight from happening in April. That combination led to Parker defending against Cojanu in Manukau City.

This comes after the Parker-Ruiz fight was having issues being sponsored like I stated before.

"There are still issues with respect to the location for Joseph Parker's WBO heavyweight title fight with Andy Ruiz.

The fight appeared to be taking place in Auckland on December 10 after Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who handles Ruiz, revealed the bout would be in the Kiwi fighter's hometown. For several weeks there was confusion on where the fight would take place, with Parker's promoter Duco Events having trouble securing government funding for the card.

But now there is once again a problem with the money after the main sponsor Ateed for the card has pulled out from funding the card.

If Duco is unable to fund the show, Arum would have the option of taking that fight to the United States."

^^^ this was a week before Duco Events said that there was a 20% chance Parker-Ruiz would be in Auckland.

New Zealand heavyweight Joseph Parker is set to fight for a world heavyweight title, but as previously reported it might take place in the United States rather

They were able to secure that fight in Auckland four weeks before it was scheduled to take place due to another company coming through.

That is the base of my original statement.

A HOF that was done already. Wlad coming off the worst performance of his life looking like the best performance after a year and a half off. Don’t get me wrong it was a good fight but Joshua’s performance wasn’t great at all. That fight was more about what Wlad didn’t do. Even the early rounds that Joshua won were because of Wlads inactivity. He was letting Wlad back him up and looked very uncomfortable. But Joshua was able to stop Wlad so he deserves credit for that.
