Yeah maybe it's because there's been a concerted effort to push Lomachenko onto the masses since his very first professional fight. If you go by the way they're pushing him, he's behind schedule. He said himself he thought he would be more popular by now.
The goal is not how unknown he is at 11 fights but whether he'll ever reach the status of the 3 boxers you mentioned. The jury is still out in my opinion.
All those amateur fights can catch up in one night, and you are wasted. Fighters take a lot of punishment throughout the years, even if it's a few punches a round, here and there. Dangerous accumulation.
If I were Loma's promoter, I would forget belts and focus on money fights: Mikey, Crawford, Davis (later), Linares, etc. Make your money and get out.
In terms of legacy, I see him achieving a little more than GGG (which I know isn't much).Comment

Loma is talented, so I don't wanna see him fall victim to the same slothful bullish.t ggg fell victim to. That is, fighting only smaller fighters and same size Cans !
It's time to step up for a real challenge like Ward did With Kovalev !
Mikey Garcia is Loma's REAL challenge !!!Comment

I'm a bigger Loma fan than Crawford and have defended him against a million fools.
You missed the point. Loma called out Floyd, who's a 147 lb fighter. he's old and retired. It was a blatant, pathetic money grab. If Loma wants to build a legacy and fight someone bigger, he should fight Crawford.
Just so we're clear - Crawford is WAY too big for Loma. But Loma shouldn't be an idiot and call out an old, retired 147 pounder.Comment
