Did you even read the thread? I guess not. Loma called out Davis, not Floyd. Everybody knows that Davis does whatever Floyd tells him, and Loma staid Floyd should stop hiding his fighter from facing him.

He was a champion this summer... he should be ready for anyone, 23 is not even that young, Floyd was fighting the best at that age.

Pretty good observation. I've said same many times. Once you become a champ, you must be ready to take on all comers (that's my rule). Then, I remember boxing is also business first these days.

I think Davis is coming into his prime and is ready for anyone. He's not afraid of Loma at all. That's not the mentality of this "punk" and "thug," as some call him. He's just being realistic. He doesn't need Loma, is comfortable and in no rush. Why should he?

The business side is a whole different thing. Lots of millions will be involved. It might be Loma's biggest money fight in a couple of years.

Davis is highly overrated I used to think he was gonna be the real deal but dude supposedly has this big punch but he has to hit them a 1000 times before they even crack thats not the sign of a big puncher.

How? Who rates him that highly? This thread caught fire, the most viewed and responded to today, and almost all are against Davis.

I'm the only one (and maybe a couple of other guys) who are arguing for him. Good discussions, tho.

davis is an undercard fighter. only time he was in the main event was when he traveled. hes being subsidized and overpaid right now because they believe they can turn him into a star but he hasnt shown any star power himself.
