These kinds of comments amuse me... all of what you guys are saying is totally correct and Wilder will deserve credit for beating Ortiz... BUT that doesn't change the fact that Ortiz is old and inactive (discounting the 'fight' against that total bum Ortiz recently faced), which happen to be two of the most commonly used adjectives that Wilder fanboys have used to dismiss Joshua's win over Klitschko. So yeh, Wilder will deserve just as much credit as Joshua deserves for beating Klitschko, but do you really expect either set of fanboys to be remotely objective?

Anywho, Wilder facing Ortiz would be fantastic and would properly build up the hype for a Wilder v Joshua fight in the Summer/Autumn if they both come through serious challenges to reaffirm their statuses as the top 2 fighters in the division. Tis a very good move for Wilder, especially if the other option was the likes of Breazeale which really would not have done anything to push his status; irrelevant of their personal 'beef'.

You're clearly a juvenile hater if you blame Wilder for this fight not happening. You're ready made excuse doesn't change the fact that Ortiz is legitimate and a good fighter.

        This is a good fight.

It's crazy. First Wilder was supposedly ducking Ortiz. Now Ortiz is old, slow, and a bum and Wilder shouldn't get credit if he wins.

This place is full of mentally challenged children.

Joshua will be unifying the division making $15-20 mil fighting Parker in front of 100,000.

Ortiz would Knock parker the F out. So while you glorify the set up with AJ/Parker the real Bombs will be landing in the D.Wilder/Ortiz fight.

Ortiz got pop too. If D.Wilder Knocks him out I would be impressed.

Ortiz earned a shot by being inactive and getting popped for roids?

Stop making excuses for your man - he's straight chocha and scared of flying now...

Wilder's fear of flying is worse than Manny's fear of needles...
Dude you are so ***ed up. He would have fought Whyte buy Hearn wouldn't guarantee AJ next.

Get ready to be impressed. I really think Wilder is hungry and wants to prove he is the best. He showed some of that desire when he beat Arreola with a torn bicep and a broken hand. in todays world guys quit when they get and injury.

Wilder gets no credit cause Ortiz is old at 38-39, yet AJ gets tonnes of credit for beating a 41 year old Wlad.
I’m not a fan of either but AJ fanboys are embarrassing😭😭
