Yeah, I remember when Jon Jones said he wanted to box with one of the Klitschkos. The funny thing is, he's not even a good boxer for UFC standards. At least Conor and GSP have good boxing for MMA.

And more recently Stipe wanted to box Joshua.

Cyborg, Diaz and Aldo all applied for boxing licenses as well.

Dàmn Floyd really is the king of combat sports. It’s amazing how so many fighters mention him and are influenced by him.

i cant hate gsp for this... he's not a top contender anymore and he knows this. he cant hand with the younger generation so his best bet is to take on the biggest fight possible and cash out. he's doing the same thing floyd is doing.

Depending at which weight this fight happens, I think GSP beats May.

Anyway, ****** fight as GSP should be concentrating on his come back.

I want to see it. This should be the new thing Floyd does. Fight guys in MMA, who are willing to show the world the level of dedication boxers invest in the art of striking with your hands and just your hands. No laying on someone for 5,10,15 minutes of a fight to smother them. No ground and pound to hide behind not being good enough to really compete so you reduce your skills to bar room brawling. Show how untalented and featherfisted the average MMA practitioner is

And to think the only fight worthy is against the biggest UFC star and still the biggest boxing superstar.
I was told Jose Aldo is one of the best boxers in UFC and the guy can't even hit a speed bag.

These UFC fighters are in way over their head when it comes to Boxing.

The only fight for Floyd in boxing is GGG - I'd rather Floyd not risk his legacy at his advanced age.

Floyd vs GSP at 170 would be ****** because even if Floyd somehow lost (which has 1 and 1 zillion chance of happening) nobody would care because GSP would just be considered way too big and Floyd way too old. Floyd winning would mean nothing and would start making him seem like a circus act. I don't think the fight sells well either - that UFC vs. Boxing event already happened and people see that UFC see fighters just don't have the conditioning to be on their feet for 12 rounds, they don't punch as sharply as boxers, and their chins aren't trained as well to take a punch.

I think Conor is going to go Diaz, GSP (maybe a rematch or part IV) and retire in about 2-3 fights.

No way Conor fights more than 2-3 more times. And he's not fighting Tony Ferguson or anyone like that.

It's either Diaz and/or GSP and then retirement.
