We're discussing a fight between the two best of their era and ATG's, not a fight between an ATG boxer and a guy that never boxed.

Whatever happened in those fights have no relevance to each other.

Well yeah, we all know what Floyd does and that's what he did. You knew what to expect from Floyd in terms of his game plan.

Maybe "fault" isn't the right world but Manny and his team promised a lot and delivered on nothing. Floyd just had a routine performance. Anyone that bought the fight and was upset by how dull it was shouldn't be pointing the finger at Floyd because he was himself, you know what you're paying for, so don't complain.

They we're basically mad because Manny couldn't back it up and just looked like another Floyd opponent that couldn't do much to him. So yeah, he didn't deliver his end of the bargain. Floyd did by being himself.
