    That's a possibility.

The thing with Saunders though is that i don't think he cares if he stinks out a venue if needed. So he won't just throw his gameplan out of the window and start chasing Canelo aimlessly as the aggressor.

Lara made Canelo come to him, so did Floyd. Not saying Saunders is Floyd of course but it showed you can make Canelo fight your fight if you keep a cool head and stick to a plan.

As we all know though, you would need to beat Canelo for 3 minutes a round to win the round. I believe a fighter with the style of Saunders could fiddle his way through a fight and beat Canelo but he won't get a decision doing that.

BJS already showed that he can be disciplined and focused and stick to the gameplan. He can lure Nelo to pursue him in slow, heavy strides.

Canelo does seem to have at least one of the judges in his pocket at all times.

        That would play a factor.

Canelo is too short, his reach is not long enough and yes, his feet are too slow. I can see BJS outboxing him and I said that before the recent hype. Thing is, however tough or easy the fight is, BJS doesnt have power or intent to stop his opponents and noway is Canelo going to lose a decision. NO WAY.

He's not as slow as he's made out to be, however he would be at a reach disadvantage on top of being less mobile. He's a great (and quick) enough of a counterpuncher to land something back on BJS, but not sure he'll land enough.

Having said that though, Canelo destroyed Khan, who's not that much different style wise.

Billy Joe definitely has the style to trouble Canelo.

Canelo has good foot positioning but as most know his feet are slow. He will struggle with Saunders constant movement.

Saunders is the bigger man too.

                Tough fight for Canelo.

Canelo has only gotten better overall with each fight. He caught up to Lara who's just as skilled as BJS on the backfoot. Besides Canelo being the A side would get the smallest ring allowed. BJS' movement wouldn't be as big as a problem everyone makes it out to be.

If this fight happens, Canelo punishes that body and will force exchanges where he will counter BJS pretty effectively.

Canelo's team is already making noise that Saunders is a runner and has an unattractive style like Erislandy Lara.

lara has better footwork and is faster than bjs, so no...
lara is better than saunders and a lesser version of canelo was enough to get the nod over lara... unless you are as skilled as floyd mayweather good luck trying to outbox canelo..
