Are Canelo's feet too slow to catch Billy Joe Saunders?

Would Alvarez be able to cut the ring off on BJS?

It’s not just the foot speed. It’s the combination of foot speed, hand speed, length, and defense. Bad matchup for Canelo.

It would be a good fight,

BJS has a good wing span for a middleweight. I feel like he learned how to use it

He wouldn't chase him. Canelo also prefers to counter punch too so this would be an extremely tentative, boring fight. Saunders would have to stay busy because Canelo only needs a few punches to win a round (since his are usually eye pleasing due to their strength and accuracy). While trying to land on Canelo, he'd get caught repeatedly. If Lemieux can land on Saunders body, Canelo sure as hell can.

That's exactly correct. He'll fight Saunders like he fought GGG...backing up and countering the loudmouth mong.

People are over stating too much on the speed of Saunders. He did many things elite punchers like DJ, Canelo and GGG like being too wide on his punches. Or lunging in like he did with Lemmy.
