He might have a point with Canelo (actually more with Golden Boy). Saunders is like Lara without the pop, and as we just saw, if you can't cut the ring off with Saunders (and Canelo's not great at cutting the ring off), Saunders will dance around all night and given Canelo has a defence (unlike Lemieux), we could get whole rounds with nothing landed. The fight could be a stinker - and THAT would put Golden Boy off.

Golovkin can cut the ring off. Different story.

If ggg does not respect his power because billy lacks power. I dont see ggg have too much trouble. People forget ggg has a great jab and knows how to cut off the ring.

The one thing that impressed me was Saunders kept up his energy level really well. That could change if someone could get to his body. Kudos to Saunders for a great performance.
I agree with Roy about Canelo. I don't think he has enough power to KO Saunders with one punch, even if he could land it clean, and would struggle getting close enough for long enough to wear him down to the body.

I think BJS is faster on his feet and a better boxer than Jacobs, especially with the long range jab, but not as powerful.

Imo, GGG is the most dangerous of the 3 for BJS, because of his ability to cut the ring, and his great jab.

Lara can pop? Maybe against blown up WWs, but I don't think he hits harder than BJS, who is a full blown, big size MW.

I rate BJS better than Lara, because he judges range and distance much better and isn't afraid to step in with his punches. Lara throws so many shots, especially jabs, that don't land, because he is too far away from the target most of the time.

Yeah but he's getting older. If he waits for the Canelo fight and wins. When does he fight Saunders?

It would happen next year. I don't think BJS would keep him waiting around.

Ok haters, Saunders scalps now include Chris Eubank Jnr, David Lemieux, Andy Lee & Willie Monroe Jnr. People want to call him a bum now?! Oh yeah that chap on his undercard Gary O'Sullivan, Saunders beat his ass years ago too!

Uk fighters are always 2nd tier in my honest opinion
As an American, i think your argument makes no sense whatsoever. BJ's style is a problem for both canelo, and GGG. He has superior footwork to both of them, more elusive, more movement, he is not a brawler, both GGG and Canelo have yet to face a full sized pure boxer with dog in him.

I have hate BJS, can't stand him, but the man can fight, who gives a sh/t where is from, he is a WORLD champion, not a domestic one, ****** comment.
