  • Comments Thread For: Horn Promoter: Crawford Can't Sell, He's Not a Big Money Fight!

A fight with Terence Crawford would be worth much more to Jeff Horn if the unbeaten challenger wasn't the "world's worst interview," says Duco Events boss Dean Lonergan. Horn is in talks to face Crawford, the mandatory challenger to his WBO welterweight championship, in late April, in Las Vegas.

Part of it could be money but it sounds to me like Horn is looking for an easier way out ...Bud would stop him b4 round 7...

What's to say; you don't even be able to speak, a mute can box. Horn isn't exactly Ali with the media. Whether Crawford can speak or not isn't irrelevant, that's what promoters are for, building up fights. Crawford work speaks for itself in the ring. Horn just wants to hold the belt, little chance against Crawford who is my #2P4P

I'm a huge Crawford fan but I'll would have to agree with this! His interviews are terrible & in today's boxing era, the media pays more attention to what you say over what you do inside the ring! As Bud gets a little more comfortable doing interviews, he will get a little better. Example, take a look at Khan! He hasn't done anything over the pass few years but run his mouth as if he's some type of A-side world beater but many in the media & casual fans are interested in what he has to say which is sad! Unfortunate for Team Horn, Crawford is a beast with those hands which is the only thing that matters inside the ring so it would behoove of team Horn not to poke the beast too many times!

Not surprising to read this. Either way, Crawford is fighting for the WBO title next. If Horn vacates, hopefully we can get Crawford-Pacquiao for the vacant title.

Easy solution Jeff, just relinquish the plastic belt, then you can tackle the rugby player/part time boxer. No worries, as you would put it.

Definitely looking for a way out of the fight with Crawford. I thought he was hungry? Here's a man with the highest pitched voice in boxing talking about someone else's speaking ability. I'm ready for someone to punish this dude now.

crawford is just not marketable right now unless he changes. that's why i said arum is prolly working behind the scene to build up a guy like horn instead.

crawford at this moment still have a hood mentality. the "**** it" mentality. arum cant really promote someone like this.

i mean during the loma vs rigo weigh in, crawford was there in sweats and a beanie LOL. you would think he'll try to look a little more presentable being that he's arum's future #1 guy.
