Why do u focus so much on the fans? If I like a fighter I dont care abt his other fans. If they act ****** than so what?

I think ur an emotional man. Its all good, we all love boxing.

He was 23 in 2011, and still fighting amateurs! Yet Floyd is "protecting" Davis, who won a title fight @ 22 years old!

He wasn't fighting Rigo, Gamboa, Mares, Donaire, Salido, or Broner in 2011, so stop with the "he was fighting the best possible opponents!" He was fighting the best AMATEUR OPPONENTS in 2011! Huge difference!
I think you know for yourself how ridiculous this statement is.

Amateur boxing used to be regarded highly in America but with less and less competitive amateur boxers from the US the public opinion changed. Now guys like you act like it's a joke. No ducking, no dodging, the best fight the best.

When Lomachenko was 22 (like Davis was when he won a title) this is what "Best vs. Best" looked like:

              Showtime Bantamweight Tournament Set

              September 8, 2010
              by Dan Rafael

Four of the top bantamweights in the world -- Vic Darchinyan, Yonnhy Perez, Joseph Agbeko and Abner Mares -- will be part of a single-elimination tournament on Showtime, which finalized the event Wednesday, promoter Gary Shaw told ESPN.com.

The semifinals will take place in Leon, Mexico, on Dec. 11. Darchinyan, the junior bantamweight champion, who is staying at bantamweight after winning a fight in the division in May, will face Mares in the main event. Perez will defend his 118-pound title in a mandatory rematch against former titlist Joseph Agbeko in the co-feature.

The winners are slated to meet in the first quarter of 2011 or early in the second quarter, Shaw said.

America's best amateurs are rarely 23 years old! We send "kids" to the Olympics!

That is the attitude you want if you want to be great, that hunger and greed for more that can never be satisfied.

It is one of the things you can never really tell until a guy actually makes it no matter the talent. If that is his mind set dudes are in trouble for a while.

He wont be getting hyped up by his fans. He wants respect and he wants to earn it.
Are you crazy? Lomas fans some of them are already calling him better than Floyd, Pacquiao and Marquez and other legends!

You got one on this thread talking about Loma is the messiah that will save boxing LMAO!

Shi+ just check my sig posts, an idiot claimed Lomas defense is better than Floyd's! Lol, just go on YouTube and it gets even worse!

Floyd knows Davis isn't ready! The point I'm making is that just the same way Floyd is "protecting" his fighter, Lomachenko's father "protected" him, until he thought Loma was ready! Let's not be hypocrites!

Did you notice Shakur Stevenson (20 years old) on Lomachenko's undercard? Yeah, that's how we do it over here! Brick City, STAND UP! SALUTE!
