Josh Taylor against Mikey in 2019? Nah i don't even think he would be ready by 2020, give him some time!

Stopping Vazquez is impressive but clearly Vazquez got old over nite! He never gassed in any fight but this one he did in the 5th round!

Also Taylor is very easy to hit, Vazquez has no power whatsoever and used mainly his size and bodyshots to win!

Mikey is no Miguel Vazquez, he's in his prime, just as big or close in size, with even more power and better schooled plus experienced!

I say by 2021, he'll be ready for Mikey prolly, but in 2 years? Nah, Mikey would school him and hurt him badly! Taylor plods forward way too much and leaves himself open to counters!

Against a big puncher like Mikey, it would be lights out!

He was a 2-weight Amateur World champion and the defending Olympic champion. He would become a 2-weight Olympic champion the following year.

Competing at the amateurs is the opposite of being protected! They can't duck and dodge dangerous opponents, there is no A side, no catchweight, no BS.

The only reason you'd want to turn pro early is money. It doesn't mean you're ready for "the big boys", it mostly means you got your girlfriend pregnant and don't know how to make a living or can't do it as an amateur because you're not good enough to win back to back gold medals.

Keywords: AMATEUR, OLYMPICS. He wasn't fighting Pros. So if it's OK for Loma to avoid pros @ 23, then I'm sure it should be OK for Davis to avoid Loma @ 23!

THeres a reason why loma didn’t want the fight. But the people kept screaming duck.

Who needs to be ducked in the AMATEURS? All the BEST are at the professional level! Loma was 24 when he won second title @ lightweight. He beat Han Soon-chul of South Korea! Do you want to compare Loma, at 24, fighting Han Soon-chul , to Davis @ 23 fighting Vasyl Lomachenko? Really?
