They are relevant enough fighters to call their own number and force the suits to make the fight.
Spence is the most avoided fighter of the last decade. He is in the most stacked division in boxing by far, and none, not one, of the top dogs will get in the ring with him. It is sad.

A throwback would have challenged Mikey Garcia after the whoopin' he put on Broner. Which was at least as good as any win Bud has. But no, he said he wanted to move up and fight Horn. The guy is crazy talented but he isn't out there trying to fight the top guys. And he never has been. I hope he changes and wants to fight the best too, but he hasn't yet and he still isn't now. He still isn't even saying he wants to fight Spence. A real throwback would be trying to fight Spence and Thurman. Or at the least Porter and Garcia. Spence would fight him in a heartbeat, but Crawford doesn't want any of that. Which is sad, because if he dared to be great, he would have as good as chance as anyone to beat Spence. Too bad, Spence has to fight Peterson, because Bud doesn't want any, Thurman, doesn't want any, Porter doesn't want any, Garcia doesn't want any.

Lol well duh
As impressive as the win over Brook was, we have to remember Spence was getting outboxed. Any one with skills, size, heart and speed to take Spence's punches and outbox him for 12 can win. Luckily for him theres no one like that at 147.

This fight is everything Leonard-Hearns was. Two young, undefeated, immeasurably talented fighters facing off for the belts and the glory. It's what makes boxing great.

Yes, brook did manage to outbox spence and make him look average at times but spence also had success when going to the body which was ultimately brooks downfall. Spence broke down brook. Don’t give me those bs excuses about weight, trying to take away from his win. Accept the loss like a man.
1 and 2. spence hasn't got his distance yet and doesn't seem sure what approach to use. Brook seems to be keeping it simpler and having better control.
3. spence came out more aggressive and landed some nice shots, but then backed off a bit and brook came back well - a bit scrappy though, no clear advantage either way at the mo
4. scrappy as hell, brook leading and falling in and tying up, both throwing and missing with few clean connects. still no advantage either way
5. spence doesn't seem to know what to do, still scrappy as hell, close rounds, and easy to score for either, but spence won't get a decision if it carries on like this - justifiably so that is
6. fight broke out, still sloppy, brook just looks to be getting the edge
7. brook seems to slowing and looking more ponderous...needs a second wind, spence got some clean shots in that round and looks on the up...
8. brook looking horrible now, first clean round to spence, brook defence gone, still throwing but open to clean shots if spence can land them...
I was really routing for Spence in the fight, and thought he would demolish Brook, but was pretty disappointed in him. 'take loss like a man' sounds like I was routing for Brook, which I definitely was not. Should be more 'appreciate more what your man was doing', but I didn't see anything Spence did to break down Brook, more Brook break down on his own.
