Comments Thread For: Crawford: Spence Is a Good Fighter, But He's Not Indestructible

Terence Crawford respects Errol Spence Jr. The former undisputed 140-pound champion is impressed by what the unbeaten Spence has shown thus far throughout his rise in the welterweight division. Crawford also has noticed flaws in Spence that make him confident he can beat the powerful southpaw whenever they get in the ring together.

Once Crawford settles down at 147 I doubt anyone can beat him there.

I hope we get to see this fight before Spence leaves 147.... it's the best fight in my opinion, better than Thurman-Spence which doesn't look like happening next year if Thurman has his way.

****ing yes, what a boy. Crawford is becoming my favourite fighter.

Spence is pretty big compared to Crawford, and has to be a fair bit stronger. Terry could dance around and pepper but does he have just as much as or more pop than Brook to keep Spence honest?

Would love to see this fight.

I loved it when they asked Crawford about facing Spence on "First Take"....Crawford was like "...if he calls me out, I'ma look at him and say "Let's get it on!".. No fear in this guy. A real throwback.

I do not think anyone can beat Crawford at 147 lbs right now. The guy is a genius and his speed and power are just spot on. Spence is a great fighter who is also good at taking people's legs away from them before he destroys them. The question however is whether Crawford will allow Spence to be close enough to land those body shots? I doubt it. I'm a big fan of both and tbh I don't see this fight being made soon, no promoter would be that ******. It has to marinade while both fighters make some money on the side and build their profiles so that it can be a PPV fight. Crawford destroys Manny Pacquiao and possibly Amir Khan while Spence goes for Thurman and Garcia. From 2019 onwards both fighters will be well known enough to make this fight happen.

What a fight that would be. Glad that Crawford is coming into the 147 mix.

The welterweights throughout time been one of the hottest and competitive divisions in the sport but in recent times many have refused to fight their peers and it has lead to the division going cold.Fighters like Spence and Crawford could change all this .They are the real deal and unlike the rest have no fear fighting the best .......bring it on guys .....can't wait!
