Just rewatched again, it's funny how McGregor says Mayweather switched styles 3 times. The only difference from round 1 to the last is Floyd started actually throwing punches, and then round 9/10 actually put weight behind them. Mcgregor was desperately trying his best to lean on Floyd from the beginning, a tactic that blew up in his face because he's terrible on the inside and used up more of his energy trying to wrestle with Floyd.

McGregor meaningful punches can be counted on 1 hand. The rest are back of the head, hammer fists and low-blows. He had a decent jab though, I'll give him that, but that gets put away after 9 minutes of activity since he can no longer lift his arms.

So in a nutshell, UFC's best can barely hang in for 4 rounds with a 40 year old inactive boxer.

He probably could because there are people out there dumb enough to still believe McGregor would win. Many of them are on this site.

You were one of the fools who thought McGregor would win. It's not surprising that my post caught your attention.

possibly part of the subtle build up for the rematch. Floyd was a real tactical genius in there...walked straight into him throwing power shots. this guy doesn't wanna admit he got beat by a style so basic that Floyd wouldn't use it against a decent boxer.

I can see this crap happening again :-P

"I didn't train properly, didn't respect the boxing game at first, but I know what to do now!"

and idiots will soak it up

                  EDIT

That's pretty much what he said exactly in the article

Sad part is he makes more money in boxing, so a rematch with Mayweather will happen eventually, both guys aren't ****** enough to pass up another $100 million or more. UFC pay their fighters chump change
WHy the F would he ever need to rematch holloway, porrier, or alvareZ? he ****ing whooped those dude all over the mat.

Khabib almost got KO'd by michael johnson. He's overrated.

TOny is the best fight for mcgregor.

Rematches: He whooped Hollway, Poirier, Alvarez - that is a fact. If they fought today, he'd still whoop them - though Holloway would present more of a challenge this time plus those fights are very easy sells and something that should interest Conor fans and haters.

Nate at 155 - which is where the 3rd fight will take place, Conor wins. At 170 Diaz can't impose his size on him in the clinch and against the cage to tire him. Very easy sell for a fight.

Ferguson and Khabib - Ferguson makes sense because he is on a very long win streak and is the interim, that fight has to take place next. Khabib I'm not sold on - his record is very, very padded (like, pro boxer first 20 fights padded) and he is inactive. Conor can KO Khabib but the ground challenge presents a new threat.

All winnable fights for him, but all in HIS sport, not boxing. I saw the training footage with Paulie, and although I don't like Pauli at all if he is in shape he will beat Conor in a boxing match easy too. Seeing an MMA fighter transition to boxing is a joke - though I can understand from a money perspective.
