Originally posted by lakerstekkenn View PostBelieve it or not people, ESPN HBO and other Networks, actually hire people to read fans reactions to Teddy Atlas and other outrageous over the top silly commentary and if the fans hate it and say they won't watch them, ESPN and the rest will pull the plug on Teddy and HBO"s what's his name who pissed Floyd off, then they got rid of him, the commentator who said , If I was 50 years younger I would kick your a-ss Floyd , he got canned to.
So they probably heard the backlash and pulled Teddy, because of his outrageous commentary and that's that, nothing he can do about it.
He was annoying ass hell anyway and it was to fake and over the top to even listen to at times, him yelling at everyone and then that other clown from first take acting a fool himself Steven A Smith so i don't blame them it was starting to get cartoonist at times.

His last cringefest was during Ramirez-Reed arguing that the stoppage was anything but justified. He was so off on that one that his fellow commentators were throwing shade at him. It got really pitiful as he started backtracking in the middle of his rant as replay after replay confirmed the validity of the stoppage.
Remove Teddy Atlas from all boxing programming. He's a fraud.

Atlas was outraged when Bradley got the win in the first Bradley vs Pacquiao fight. He said it was a robbery and corruption was behind it. Then later when he became Bradley's trainer he did a complete 180 and said Bradley won the first fight with Pacquiao and deserved the win. So much for Atlas's honesty, integrity and credibility. If he is gone I won't miss his loud motor mouth lessening my enjoyment of the boxing.

*** And here's Stephanie Druley, an ESPN vice president. “I would like to be optimistic and I think it will happen soon,” Druley said. “I'd like to think that if we can potentially have a woman be president, we can certainly have a woman do the NFL. I think America is changing, sports fans are changing and the..." ***
Per ESPN VP Stephanie Druley: "Teddy’s expertise and knowledge of boxing is unparalleled and he will continue to be a part of our boxing coverage. As we embark upon a new approach w/our boxing coverage, we are also going to utilize different talent lineups."
Interesting....perhaps a transexual, *****phile, physically disabled 'woman'?
