But now ESPN are trying to make a proper job of their boxing coverage (similar to BN moving their big cards to BT Sport over here) you need a bit more of a polished sound/look to go with your product and appeal to the more casual mainstream audience.

Buncey is still on there as a pundit, but he has taken a back seat compared to what he has on BN, similar to what they are doing with Teddy over there
I think Bunce is one of the best in the sport and many times I've sought out British streams because I'll take Buncey over the HBO crew any day.

Teddy was the only thing ESPN had going for it as far as I'm concerned. I can see if they didn't want him on the Loma/Rigo show because of his hyping Loma so strong. But, it doesn't sound like that's what this is about. It sounds like they are just removing him from live commentary. Shame. He's the most insightful commentator in the states.

Well he did do a terrible job for Pacquiao-Horn. The rest of the world saw a close fight. Americans were raging about robberies because of his commentary. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Arum that got him booted.

really? buncy has consistently had shocker after shocker on BN for the past......well years really.

last weekend he said he had cotto winning

Atlas is totally insane and senile but at least he knows what he's talking about (some) of the time. Buncy hasnt got a clue.

Believe it or not people, ESPN HBO and other Networks, actually hire people to read fans reactions to Teddy Atlas and other outrageous over the top silly commentary and if the fans hate it and say they won't watch them, ESPN and the rest will pull the plug on Teddy and HBO"s what's his name who pissed Floyd off, then they got rid of him, the commentator who said , If I was 50 years younger I would kick your a-ss Floyd , he got canned to.

So they probably heard the backlash and pulled Teddy, because of his outrageous commentary and that's that, nothing he can do about it.

He was annoying ass hell anyway and it was to fake and over the top to even listen to at times, him yelling at everyone and then that other clown from first take acting a fool himself Steven A Smith so i don't blame them it was starting to get cartoonist at times.

That’s a pretty fair comparison, I’m a big fan of Buncey, he’s one of the good guys in boxing, but he doesn’t half come out with some crazy statements

Rafael all shook for GGG to be knocked out by Canelo in the rematch that he at least wants to conserve his p4p wall poster agenda and not ruining ESPN's branding and integrity with Lomachenko....shall the worst happen if Teddy were to go berzerk on Loma winning wide, Rigo robbed...

                  it's obvious...

Bunce is a biased clown, now Barry Jones he’s a real dude. Im not even sure where to start with Atlas, he’s spoilt every ESPN fight he’s commentated on that I’ve watched. I never disliked the guy until he started these ESPN fights but damn he’s off the rails.

He is insightful he’s a vast array of knowledge but I feel he brings the telecast down.

Sounds like you have intimate knowledge of Sanchez's underwear. Its OK. Different strokes as they say.
