Was Teddy Atlas just canned by ESPN?

Believe it or not people, ESPN HBO and other Networks, actually hire people to read fans reactions to Teddy Atlas and other outrageous over the top silly commentary and if the fans hate it and say they won't watch them, ESPN and the rest will pull the plug on Teddy and HBO"s what's his name who pissed Floyd off, then they got rid of him, the commentator who said , If I was 50 years younger I would kick your a-ss Floyd , he got canned to.

So they probably heard the backlash and pulled Teddy, because of his outrageous commentary and that's that, nothing he can do about it.

He was annoying ass hell anyway and it was to fake and over the top to even listen to at times, him yelling at everyone and then that other clown from first take acting a fool himself Steven A Smith so i don't blame them it was starting to get cartoonist at times.

I don't know I'd say it's more about age discrimination because most have been really mad at Max and Lampley for years

But you industry rogue posters KNOW that Teddy Atlas is one of the sole culprits to HAVE HYPED the MATRIX....

it's rather suspect to not have him commentate on this one when logic tells you he'd most likely root for Loma...

but of course... there's that spirit in Teddy Atlas to tell it as it is, and surely ESPN doesnt want to have coverage of telling viewers how great Rigo beat Loma ''without a doubt...''

I think Bunce is one of the best in the sport and many times I've sought out British streams because I'll take Buncey over the HBO crew any day.

Teddy was the only thing ESPN had going for it as far as I'm concerned. I can see if they didn't want him on the Loma/Rigo show because of his hyping Loma so strong. But, it doesn't sound like that's what this is about. It sounds like they are just removing him from live commentary. Shame. He's the most insightful commentator in the states.

Teddy is about the best there is IMO. I think they're removing him to prevent him from ranting about a robbery like he did in the Pacquiao fight. Theyre making an investment in boxing, so having some crazy sounding dude with a scar on his face screaming about how the sport is a sham is probably not what they're looking for in their commentary team for this series.

I'll never forget how fans were calling Teddy a ****ty commentator and even racist against white people when he was completely dismissive of David Lemeiux in his victory over Elvin Ayala on FNF. He said Lemeiux was going to lose the second he stepped up.

ESPN never learns. They are already bleeding money and losing viewership. So now they will pull the guy who isn't so PC and tells it like it is in favor of some yes man who only fawns over every athlete and never offers a real opinion. Atlas is totally insane and senile but at least he knows what he's talking about (some) of the time. Buncy hasnt got a clue.

Yeah dont get me wrong he drops clangers, and he can be a company man at times. But you can see he is a genuine fan of boxing. He lives and breaths the sport. You dont get that passion from a media trained straight laced guy.
