Lom didnt make Rigo move up two weight divisions, the offer was on the table in 2015 for 126 and team Rigo declined the offer and that was when Rigo was a couple years younger. And who is "they" are making Rigo put his title on the line? Get your facts straight.1. Diva Lomo has RIGO moving up 2 weightclasses to fight him without meeting him even half way.
2. RIGO is an old man going on 38.
3. They are making RIGO put his 122 title on the line for the 130lb fight. Totally ridiculous!!!
Hope the old man RIGO stops Lomo because he will never get a decision.Last edited by richardt; 12-06-2017, 10:46 AM.Comment

Rigo has sounded supremely confident going into this fight. No surprise, coming from a guy who doesn’t really know what it’s like to lose. But one thing he said in a recent interview had me raise an eyebrow. Basically, Guillermo claims people will be surprised at how close the fighters are in size when they both step into the ring. Maybe he’s just talking shit. But I’ve heard shit talk before, and this sounded like he literally knew something we don’t.
On a side note, I looked up some of Rigo’s previous fights last night. I knew a few of his past opponents were taller than Lomo, but wasn’t sure by how much. (Bear in mind, Vasyl is listed at 5’6”.) Flores 5’9”, Amagasa 5’10.5”, Marroquin 5’8”, Cordoba 5’8”. I’m sure at least some of these men rehydrated to a weight that far exceeded Rigo’s on fight night. Now, granted, no one named comes close to the quality of Vasyl Lomachenko, but it is food for thought.Comment
