Well good luck seeing the fight now

Edit: A bunch of posters will duck this thread though....
Wilder is a hypocrite and constantly contradicts himself. But watch his groupies defend this bull****. You know what they're like.

AJ is a cash cow only in the UK. This fight brings revenue from different places. We also don't know where the fight will take place. There are too many factors that come into play.
If Wilder brings in money from different places, why is he being paid peanuts?

Why isn't Vegas wanting to pay him a fee to stage the fight over there if he's some big seller?? Huh?

Take your medication and get off the internet.

pricing himself out is the perfect way to avoid the fight and fool himself he’s not ducking, it’s really not surprising, nearly 40 fights and yet to fight a top rated fighter, it’s an absolute joke, he’s worse than those alphabet belt holders we used to see in Ukraine or Belarus who would wait for everyone to fight in their back yard or otherwise defend against some other no-name-ski to stay busy.

It’s going to be up to Haymon. Wilder can bloviate all he wants but if Haymon tells him the best they can get is 35 to 40% he’s gonna take the deal. This all much to do about nothing. Wilders just doing his part hyping the fight. People don’t even realize that scrub Parker is actually up next.

Indeed. If he were serious the medical commission would have to rescind his license pending a cat scan.

50-50 sounds fair. The fight may happen in 2019, unlikely next year with all the marinating and promoters trying to get the most money out of their fighters.

It's potentially the biggest fight. AJ has global reach in a way no current US boxer can match and the HW division is viewed differently beyond American shores. If they can get the US audience engaged as well with the undisputed title finally up for grabs, a US challenger and 2 undefeated records on the slate then this fight could do seriously big business.

That process is underway imo with Wilder's actions playing to the US crowd and seeking to generate as much noise as possible. Presumably he'll be facing Brezeale which will be marketed as a grudge match, but there'll be lots of histrionics about AJ 'ducking' to try and get more US fans aware of him and see if he can pique the interests of Vegas and the networks.
