He was significantly larger than Floyd and has a good jab and is rangy. He won 2 of first 3 rounds. I'm not too proud of a boxing fan to say an MMA fighter took a couple of rounds off an old-timer.

Those were real rounds by the way. Floyd, Manny, Gennady...nobody "let's" another man punch them in the face.

Conor used what he had well and did as good as he could have if we're being honest. I gave Conor 3 rounds which is very impressive even if Floyd was 40, on a 2 year layoff, and couldn't spar during camp

Stop, it was obvious he was walking him down throughout the whole fight. He didn't try to "box" him from the outside at all. Just look at the way he fought lol

Watch first 2 rounds again. Floyd is trying to find what works - he wasn't walking anyone down off the bat. He realized in round 3 he could be more aggressive.

Conor won first 2 rounds and Floyd was not coming foward really at all in those rounds.

Anyone that has ever seen Mayweather fight could see he was carrying that novice . Mayweather didn't take a step back the whole night and refused to counterpunch . Any decent boxer would knockout McGregor the way he would lift his chin with each jab. Mayweather wasn't doing it for the fans he wanted it to be close so they could have a rematch and make a ton more money but McGregor was so pathetic and his conditioning so bad he couldn't even finish the fight .
