Dude, cut the ****. They were both great fighters for their era. There are a couple of guys Marquez lost to that I doubt you ever even heard of. As far as excuses, cotto hasn't always been the best sport as far as interviews but as far as excuses... you probably would say something too if a guy that beat you was found with illegal wraps 1 fight later and if you happened to tear your bicep in a fight. Marquez himself hasn't always been the best sport and is infamous for crying robbery with every decision he's lost with the exception of the mayweather fight where he claimed the weight was an issue.
