I like this mentality going to a fight. Rigo trying to cripple the company.

    But I think Loma wins.

ehhh....i see alot of people saying stuff like that

arum knows what most of us know....the hardcores, or those who are actually gonna care about this fight, already do care about it....this isnt a fight that appeals to casuals and quite frankly i dont think anyone thinks its good for them to be tuned in....the fight might not be all that entertaining

i know its loma...and some of you think if hes pushed right he can become a superstar.....and while i think loma is already sort of a star i dont know if he can become a bigtime one...

this fight just doesnt have much more potential that what it already has...dumping a ton of money into promotion for it isnt going to change much...its just reality...if top rank thought it might im sure they would have done more

and even though they can be snake like at times...they prob know more about this stuff than we do

This guy's hate on Arum is misdirected. Bobfather gave him Donaire and now Loma. He also gave him Agbeko for a showcase fight. It was HBO that wanted nothing to do with him. What can Bobfather do? It's been a century since he left Arum. It's like blaming your parents for being ugly.

Loma, like Donaire, is not even what you call a cashcow. What loss is there to recover from? This guy is so full of himself.

Funny part is Bobfather is still the only promoter who could give him a meaningful fight. Not Haymon, not Roc, not Dibella, etc. It's laughable.

How are you saying lara got robbed and saying ggg got robbed by canelo? Cause people say canelo ran against ggg and thats why he lost but to say lara won means you’re saying lara didn’t run against canelo

Exactly, I remember reading arum trying to get him fights but hbo would not pay for them cause of how boring he is. Tons of people left during his fight agbeko. If anything he should be thanking arum as arum is the only one to give him meaningful fights

Haymon wanted no part of Rigo. He bought Leo Santa Cruz's remaining contract with GBP when Dela Hoya tried to make the LSC vs Rigo fight.
Mayweather TMT also want no part of the Cuban, content in just paying lip service to his skills.
So yes, with all the Cuban and his fans' hate on Arum, Bob is still the only promoter who is capable of resurrecting his career.

I can accept that Arum is an old curmudgeon an old fool even, but condemning an entire religion -- a people that gave rise to all monotheistic religions --- because of the way a boxing match was or was not promoted is a bit over the top.

Rigo is brilliant in the ring and has not received his just due from promoters and fans. He has a shot against Loma, but my hunch is that he is in for a long night of pain.
