The best thing for Rigo would be to win a very convincing UD and then get robbed on the cards. I think Loma is the kind of guy that would acknowledge if he truly lost (unlike Bradley in the first Pac fight)... It sets up a big rematch (Loma would have no choice but give him to rematch or else his reputation would take a huge hit and he seems to care very much about his boxing reputation)... OR a split decision that goes to Rigo where a lot of fans thought Loma won, would also set up a big rematch (Loma can play up how now he'll be more aggressive/go for the KO) Because the fact is, Loma is the best Rigo will ever face. It's only downhill for Rigo in terms of competition after Loma while Loma can still move up in weight to test himself.

The WORST thing that could happen to Rigo is he loses decisively on the cards or gets KO'd...then there's no chance for a rematch.

As long he Rigo wins convincingly even if he gets robbed he ensures another career high pay day with Loma.

The least likely thing seems to me (given the corruption in boxing) is Rigo winning convincingly and not getting robbed...But if that happens, there might not be any interest in a rematch. It either needs to be close or the guy that clearly won needs to get robbed for there to be interest in a rematch.

Good post. I agree on all counts.

Rigo lacks the skill and the power to beat Loma. I predict after 4 rounds Loma just accelerates and Rigo is knocked down twice and then stopped. He is in deep water.

Loma, like Donaire, is not even what you call a cashcow. What loss is there to recover from? This guy is so full of himself.

Funny part is Bobfather is still the only promoter who could give him a meaningful fight. Not Haymon, not Roc, not Dibella, etc. It's laughable.

The real issue is that it’s not Rigo it’s his co promoter Caribe..... everyone has said they are the problem.

War Rigo! I would love to see Bob Arums face if Loma loses.

Dunno. When Loma has Rigo bleeding from his nose, and eye and running for survival, let's see if he gives proper credit post fight.

Lol Sometimes I think they ought to give a test before people are allowed to post.

Great point, both Lara and the diva lost because of running. Candelita got straight smacked around though and had to resort to running while Lara just straight up ran like a track star and forgot he was supposed to be a boxer.
