That depends on who is doing the rating. To me, Wladimir Klitschko is the greatest heavyweight champion of all time based on his accomplishments against the best possible opponents in the heavyweight division. This can be backed up by statistics.

So anyone who doesn't at least rank him in the top 5 of the all time great rankings, is underrating him in my opinion.

I've mainly encountered British and Americans from USA who underrate Wladimir Klitschko the most and without there being any rational / objective reason behind it.

As for Anthony Joshua, it again depends on who is doing the rating. He has one of the best heavyweight record for a heavyweight with merely 20 bouts. Compared to most boxers today, his heavyweight record is better at 20 bouts than them. However, at this point in his career, anything more than crediting him for being a potential all time great is overrating him. He isn't one yet. Nor is he even a hall of famer or a legend yet. He is the one of the best heavyweights in the world today and is the future of the heavyweight division who has the potential to build a great legacy.

Wlad was the undisputed best heavyweight in the world with most titles and was most importantly the lineal champion. If Wilder really wanted to be the best heavyweight in the world, he would've took on Wladimir Klitschko but refused to until Wlad was close to the age of 40 which was when he even started to show any degree of interest of boxing against Wlad. Deontay Wilder rarely showed any REAL interest of boxing against either Klitschko brother and only when Vitali retired did Wilder manage to even obtain the vacated WBC title which he currently holds.

So if anything, it was more akin to Wilder being scared of Wlad than vice versa. Wlad fought the best possible opponents for around a decade whilst Wilder has only fought a few top quality opposition.

Out of 40 bouts, somehow he couldn't have fought a few more opponents who are some of the best heavyweights in the world and instead, irrational excuses are being made by those Wilder fanatics to justify him not taking on better level of opposition.

False. He talked right before Klitschko was about to clear his mandatory in hopes they could fight in 2016. But Klitschko lost to his mandatory, which is why the fight never happened.

Howard Finkel is the former WWE ring announcer. Shelly Finkel is Wilder's manager. Right after Wilder won the title, Finkel said he wanted Wilder to have a couple fights before facing Klitschko.

The article we posted is from AFTER Wilder had those couple fights, and right before Klitschko fought his mandatory, as Wilder's team was hopeful of facing Klitschko in 2016.

All of this happened in the span of 10 months. So anybody claiming Wilder ducked Klitschko or that Klitschko ducked Wilder is an absolute idiot because Klitschko wasn't going to be available until 2016, which was fine with Wilder since his team wanted the fight to be in 2016 anyway.

I think wladamir on an ability level is top 3 all time

Wilder was allowed to do whayever he wanted and take as long as he wanted to "get ready" for the big fights.

But when Joshua decides to unify against the other undefeated champion first, who is easier to negotiate with, after already unifying with the WBA against klitschko he's a cowatdly ducker
