Can you please explain why you think 4 Time World Champion in 2 Divisions , the boxer who beat Lomachencko, Orlando Salido, doesn't deserve to be pound for pound , but Lomachencko does?

Im not the one making the pound for pound list. Salido lost and draw to Martinez who Loma destroyed. That's why. Beating a guy with only 1 pro fight by low blows and getting a split decision doesn't put u on the top of the pound list. Oh not even making weight to fight.

Best boxer doesn't lose to a journeyman like Salido.

I know Lomachenko is the favorite but not as clear as most of people think. Still Loma has a little height advantage but Rigo has a reach advantage. They are similar in physical conditions.
Also the Loma style to come forward is a honey to Rigo. Rigo has the best defense in the world and his style is as counter puncher. Lets see what will happen when he feel the Rigo's left while looking for him forward. The last time this happens ****ens lost his jaw. Is a huge risk to look for Rigo constantly. Lets see

I like both these guys a lot. Too bad one of them has to lose. I agree with a lot of what you’re saying. The more I think about it, the less of an advantage I think the size is. But I do think the advantage is there. And age is another factor. Anyway, I had concerns going into the Donaire fight, and Rigo answered them all in spectacular fashion. I’m hoping he does the same here...and wouldn’t be surprised if he does.

The age is a big factor for sure but not the physical factors. In el nuevo herald look for this question to Rigo that surely you can understand in spanish

You can't look at it that way. If we looked at all records at face value it would be plain wrong...

If that was the case then Roy wouldn't have been robbed at the Olympics...and just look at the robberies the last two years.

I feel like the Salido fight is only used by guys who don't like Lomachenko for whatever reason...I don't think I really need to repeat what took place in the fight and the context.

I don't know how uncle Bob managed that one, I guess he has no pull in Texas and the Mexican lobby there is strong.

But I don't mind that fight, it was a good lesson for Loma. Taught him an invaluable lesson about the pro game.

                    ==========

Back to Rigo vs Loma.....what a fight!

I keep seeing Loma missing a lot and eating counters, but I just know that Loma will give Rigo utmost respect.

I think Loma will respect Rigo more than Rigo will respect Loma and that might be the difference. Meaning Loma will not be reckless but simply outwork Rigo even if he misses lots.

How do you even prep for Rigo? Who would one spar to get ready for Rigo?

I think this will go to a close decision with Loma taking it on sheer activity. Rigo will be a lot more accurate but will not do enough.

I could also see Rigo getting robbed....

                    May the best man win.

That’s a very intriguing quote. Rigo is saying that they’re equal in size and that people will see that when the fighters are in the ring. That will be interesting to see. But if they’re equal in size, and as Rigo said, he’s not concerned about it, why the rehydration clause?

In any event, I have become less concerned about any size difference myself. That doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s a factor, simply that I’ve come to believe it’ll be less of a factor than I originally thought. For whatever that’s worth. Lol
