    Roc Nation?

Just looked at boxrec and the last event of Roc nation was in july.

Are they out of business? Ward retired, Cotto left and is about to retire.
What is going to happen to the rest of their stable?

tey almost surely lost money on ward's career. ward's retirement surely is connected to his realization that he wasn't going to get back on PPV any time soon. the guy just didn't have that kind of following for a number of reasons. rocnation probably may very well ahve money on both of those fighs, and ward's career as a whole.

Obviously they are done. Bad press on the Franco injury on top of grossly overpaying Cotto (a draw), Ward (a non draw) and being notoriously difficult to deal with. They did as well as TNT promotions or whatever it was called. Actually probably lost more money and they went BK.

The most ready fighter they have under their banner currently is Guillermo Rigondeax; if he tops Lomachenko, he gets the WBO 130lb belt and is almost immediately in position to turn that into a TV deal/partnership, depending on what the terms of Arum's deal was.

Beyond that, Luis Arias just made his first title challenge and will likely be back in a few fights, and Dusty Hernandez and Maurice Hooker are already near step-up to top level status.

Underneath that, Roc Nation has another 4-6 prospects that they're developing who are likely a handful of fights away from really being ready for anything (can and have partnered up on smaller shows to get their guys fights.

With Cotto and Ward stepping away, Roc Nation is falling back until they see what happens with the 4 tv ready fighters that they currently have.

Cotto/Roc Nation walked away with the lion's share of the money on the Alvarez fight, Cotto/Roc Nation got HBO to pay up with an HBO Championship Boxing card for Cotto's, and a significant amount of the money was to help build Cotto's concert business in Puerto Rico (seemingly to the tune of $20m)

Androlone coWard most likely bankrupted them. When coWard quit he wasn't just quitting on the fans who believed in him, he also skipped out on his sponsors and handlers who he KNEW were totally upside down in their investment of him. They gave him the big money up front so he could be happy and comfortable and give him some longevity in the sport. In return he took the money and ran.

                  He's a steroid cheating scum.

They just had Arias fight Jacobs a few weeks ago. Have Rigondeaux fighting Loma in one of the biggest fights of the year next week.

They are still around but never came close to a take over
