Who cares? Andre Ward retired, having done much greater things than stopping some Ukrainian contender for a paper title.
So, could Ward stop Shabranskyy within 2 rounds?

keep crying man those 2 losses will not go awayConsidering Ward could not stop Alexander Brand.... He then had to punch a man in the balls... But y'all could go praising that win. I mean in the ****** and the hood you have 15-20 guys jumping and kicking on a single guy lying down defenseless, while a bigger crowd of 30-50 stands in the street looking at that and cheering... I guess you morons would be part of that crowd...Comment

So you still can't admit that without any fouling, Ward was not even able to stop Brand, never mind Kovalev. You never even denied or refuted what I said, you simply switch subjects. You know Ward would never beat Kovalev fairly, and you know Ward would never beat Slava in under 2. You know it Larry. You will never admit it, but you know the truth Larry.Comment

Styles make fights. Ward is a far superior boxer to Shart-branskyy and a superior boxer to Kovalev who outboxed and out-powered 'Shart-Man'. Ward would stop him through accumulation of punches or cruise to an easy UD.
Shartbranskyy was just another hyped soviet can crusher with power, I couldn't believe anyone could actually seriously rate that guy after watching him fight. He is closer to the level of Joe-Blow Smith jr in terms of raw talent - which is to say not much at all.Comment
